Galvin at Windows are planning some exciting wine dinners and vinous experiences throughout 2023. Join an intimate group of wine lovers for conversation and incredible wine with expertly selected food pairings. Situated on the 28th floor, Galvin at Windows offers modern British cuisine with sweeping views of London’s Hyde Park.
The first wine dinner took place in February with award-winning author, TV personality and legendary wine expert Helen McGinn who hosted a stunning dinner with a variety of five wines from different regions in Italy, South Africa, France and England.

Head Sommelier Rudina Arapi
Head Sommelier Rudina Arapi has been a part of the Galvin at Windows wine journey since 2012, influencing menus with her expert pairings. Trained in Florence, Rudina’s vast knowledge and intuitive hospitality landed her residencies at Italy’s finest wine bars and Michelin-starred restaurants. The upcoming wine dinners are a showcase of her skills and vast experience in the world of wine.
With five confirmed dinners, the best tables will be allocated with just 30 seats available for each wine dinner. Rudina and the Galvin at Windows team will bring in globally renowned wine moguls to host, educate, and imbibe their wines with guests. Each dinner has been expertly curated to match each wine by Head Chef Marc Hardiman and the talented kitchen team. The experiences will include canapes, a four course dinner, coffee, petit fours, and of course, plenty of great wine.
Rhone Valley Wine Dinner – 5 April 2023
The Rhone Valley Wine Dinner will be hosted by Daniel Brunier, who owns Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe and La Roquète in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe has been run by the Brunier family for five generations, and since 1891.
Guests will arrive at 7 pm and be welcomed with a glass of Au Petit Bonheur Rose. Brunier will present his three wineries and explain their pairings for the evening. Menu items for the first dinner have been released and include a creamy crab risotto, an endive salad, a main course of hearty lamb loin and belly, and a selected cheese course to finish. The estate’s vineyards are situated on the famous “Plateau de la Crau”, the stony terrace where there is nothing but “galets roulés”, or rounded stones, as far as the eye can see. This special terroir imparts a highly distinctive minerality to the wines.
Champagne Louis Roederer “Only Magnums” Dinner – 7 June 2023
The second dinner will follow a different formula, with an intimate 18-person dinner. Sat in the round, guests will receive a similar dining experience, but this dinner is for Champagne fanatics. The price at £395 still represents great value as each Champagne will be served in magnums, which ensure optimal freshness and flavour of each glass. The dinner will be hosted by Alex Tilling, UK ambassador for the brand, and will provide exclusive Champagnes that are not available to buy.
Reyneke South African Wines Dinner – 7 July 2023
The third dinner will be hosted by owner Johan Reyneke from South Africa. The Reyneke brand prides itself in using the finest organic and sustainable ingredients and makes sure to produce its products with an ancient touch, preserving the wine’s integrity and flavour. Guests will be greeted with wine and then indulge in Johan’s tasting over four courses and a cheese course to pair with Reyneke’s organic products.
Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine Dinner – 22 August 2023
This exciting addition will follow the same concept with Nyetimber’s UK ambassador as the host. Based in the South of England, Nyetimber utilises the rural atmosphere to grow the finest fruits on their estate, producing premium sparkling wines with traditional methods. This results in meticulously crafted British wines which combine science and artistry – all in the pursuit of perfection.
Barolo and Truffle Wine Dinner – November 2023
In November, during the peak of the Italian white truffle season, this dinner will feature the seasonal truffles and some world class Barolo. Finer details and a date are yet to be determined for this special event.
