Brought to you by Jumeirah Carlton Tower, “A Taste of Capri” is a limited residency until 8 March. The flavours of the iconic Italian destination join with the heart of Knightsbridge to deliver a gastronomic experience featuring a tailored five-course menu in a beautiful room.
Made in Italy
A curated dining journey is presented with acclimated chefs and residency of L’Olivo, a Two-Michelin Star restaurant. Head Chef of this journey, Andrea Migliaccio, brings his early personal developed taste and expertise from the island of Ischia. After taking the lead of Jumeriah Capri Palace’s II Riccio and L’Olivo Restaurants, he was awarded two-Michelin Stars. Andrea was also Executive Culinary Chef of the Caprese property and Executive Chef of Jumeirah Burj Al Arab.
To elevate an extraordinary team, Salvatore Elefante will be immersing himself in the experience as Executive Chef. Extending his already known technique as Executive Chef in L’Olivo Capri, Salvatore will deliver that same precision in hand with Andrea Migliaccio.

The Tasting Menu
With brilliant sea-inspired ingredients, L’Oro di Capri olive oil and sun-ripened lemons, each course increases the anticipation for the next one. The authentic tapestry of flavours from Capri is guided by the tradition of the coastal Mediterranean and a blend of contemporary Italian heritage. All of which captures a hint of excellence.
The evening opens with Champagne, caviar and canapés. A ceremonial arrival gets the table in the mood for the upcoming culinary adventure ahead. Diving into the open sea, the starter fishes an oyster paired with coconut milk for creaminess, green shiso ice cream for cooling and a grapefruit sauce for a smooth blend of flavours. The second course welcomes you with fresh tuna belly from the nearby waters. Layered with spicy tomato to surprise your senses and accompanied by cucumber, raspberry and buffalo yoghurt.

Then comes the signature dish. A lemon-scented tagliolini with red prawns and creamy burrata crowned on the pasta, which is topped by sea asparagus and oyster leaf, leaving a saline and citric touch that transports you to Capri’s breeze in one bite.
Following the pasta, a stunning black cod is offered with a selection of greens, complemented with cauliflower caramel and a citrus sauce. Closing the savoury journey in the tenderness of a lamb sirloin with balsamic vinegar and carrots, highlighting the statement behind Capri and showcasing the world-class cooking worthy of many Michelin stars.

Refreshing your palate with a sorbet scented by walnut water and caviar, a sweet taste from the dessert menu awaits. Crafted by the one and only pastry chef, Pierre Hermé, pistachio and chocolate crisp profiteroles with rich cold chocolate sauce, praline, cream and pistachio parfait glacé, are all combined in a choux pastry. Wow.
A Vegetarian Tasting Menu
Made by the same hands, with the same excellence.
Welcoming everyone with a Vegetable Crêpe with Rhubarb Gel and a glass of Champagne, this is followed by a starter of rich tomato soup with ricotta cheese and basil. The first course, named The Garden, presents a selection of raw and cooked vegetables with a variety of greens. Then, a roasted beetroot risotto has a hint of clementine alongside robiola cheese, rocket and peanuts.
The marinated King Oyster Mushroom is layered with green curry cream and tomato for freshness. While the next course of pissaladière bread, taggiasca olives and sweet pepper salad offers texture and taste. To freshen your taste, the walnut-water sorbet gives the perfect transition to the dessert. Wild berries, rice and cherry blossom are adorned with raspberry confit and almond cream.

Exclusive Wine & Champagne Pairings
The drinks pairing is also world-class, featuring wines from Hedonism Wines and Champagne Laurent-Perrier. The tasting menu opens with Grand Siècle Iteration N26, a very strong start. This rather special blend (58% Chardonnay, 42% Pinot Noir) is composed of three exceptional vintages—2012, 2008, and 2007—designed to recreate the “perfect year”. Expect a rich, complex profile with notes of citrus, hazelnut, brioche, and honey.
The first course starts with a white wine from France 2022, Vancheron, Les Romains, which produces a dry minerality in your palate. The tagliolini arrives with a ruby-red Guiseppe Quintarelli, revealing a floral aroma. The Black Cod is accompanied with Vinnaioli Jermann with an aromatic acidity from the white wine highlighted by golden reflections through the glass.
The lamb is paired with a rich red wine from France. The Clos Saint-Jean, Deus Ex Machina, Châteauneuf-du-Pape from the Rhône Valley is earthy and moreish. Finally, a golden-amber wine from Hungary, the Royal Tokaji Blue Label 5 Puttonyos is paired with the walnut-water sorbet and dessert.

The intimate and elegant room
The location of this unique collaboration is really special, with a room designed to match the elegance of the menu.
Bringing culture, history and elegance into the modern city of London, the private dining salon and tasting room are inspired by cities such as Paris and Milan, where intimate spaces were crafted to celebrate the art of high dining. The Taste of Capri experience is elevated by the clear connection to Capri roots, and this room just makes it all better.
A Taste of The Authentic Capri
When life gives you lemons, some make lemonade. Chef Andrea Migliaccio and Executive Chef Salvatore Elefante, use them to recreate the real Taste of Capri. With the deepest Italian provenance throughout, this experience will transport you through every bite and sip to Capri.
This experience is only until until 8 March 2026.
