Aqua Kyoto has launched its iconic summer terrace in partnership with champagne house Veuve Clicquot, high above Regent Street in London’s West End. Delivering views across the capital, it’s the ideal place to enjoy the long evenings and picture-perfect sunsets.
In celebration of 250 years of Veuve Clicquot, Aqua Kyoto partnered with the iconic champagne house to create this champagne & sushi menu, inspired by Solaire Culture, Veuve Clicquot’s global exhibition. The Aqua Kyoto x Veuve Clicquot terrace takes food inspiration from Tokyo’s Ginza district and accompanies its dishes with a bar collection of vibrant and exciting cocktails which use Japanese-influenced flavours and seasonal ingredients.
Décor
This iconic terrace features radiant yellow and pink tones across a bar laden with ice cold buckets of Veuve Clicquot. Vibrant blooms of colour cascade over the rooftop tiles, and overhead diners, exotic Lily of the Incas flowers alongside Calibrachoa Can- Can. As sunset arrives sparking fairy lights illuminate the terrace, highlighting the glowing sun feature behind the bar.
The Kyoto Sunsets menu
Under the brilliant eye of GM Raquel De Oliviera and Executive Chef Ken Miyaki, the dishes available on the new Kyoto Sunsets menu include an exclusive Sunshine Sushi paring of tuna and spicy tobika, avocado and cucumber paired with either a bottle or glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. Other Aqua Kyoto signature dishes such as spicy tuna roll, rock shrimp tempura with spicy chilli and garlic mayonnaise and black cod gyoza and mizuma miso are also on the menu. The stunning dessert of Fuji apple, served with green apple mousse and elderflower sorbet is served beautifully with refreshing Veuve Clicquot Rosé.
The Aqua Kyoto x Veuve Clicquot Terrace is now open.
