Mohamed Hadid, in partnership with a team that has enjoyed over three decades in the food industry, has combined age-old tradition with cutting-edge technology to create Hadid Caviar.
Hand selected by Mohamed himself, the six editions of Hadid Caviar are sustainable and 100% traceable and Hadid Caviar will be donating 5% of the profit from every sale to the vital work being undertaken by amfAR to make AIDS history.

What’s the difference between the Black (Imperial), Gold (Royal Oscietra), Black Diamond (Beluga) and Sultan’s (Almas) caviars in your range?
Black Edition, one of the rarest varieties, is defined by large, firm plump eggs with a sublime buttery flavour. It is known for its complex hint of creamy and briny note.
Gold Edition is one of the most prized breeds; its medium-sized eggs boast a smooth, velvety texture with nutty flavour and hazelnut aroma.
Black Diamond, our finest caviar, is created with the exquisite roe of the Beluga (Huso Huso) sturgeon. It represents the elegance of fine caviar experience. Beluga offers astonishing complex flavours. Once you’ve tried it you’ll be left in no doubt as to why it’s the world’s most sought after caviar.
Sultan’s Edition, our Almas caviar is one the world’s most exclusive and coveted caviar and at the same time the world’s most expensive food. Created from the roe of albino sturgeon results in the highest quality and rarest species of caviar. Complex and nuanced with a unique translucent amber colour, Almas offers a please sensation with refined textures and subtle nutty tone.
What is the pedigree of the farming of your fish?
Our sturgeon species originate from different places around the world. Oscietra sturgeon comes from Russia, our Imperial from Amur River in China, and our Beluga from the Caspian Sea.
What makes Hadid caviar different from other caviars?
Each of the farm sites we have partnered with are leaders in their fields, trained by Persian caviar masters. Our farms use high quality fish feed and the latest technology for fish breeding which is highly important for the health and mortality rate of the fish. The caviar is packed on demand, so no stock is kept for a long time, ensuring that our clients always receive freshly packed caviar.
Mr. Hadid’s elegance and desire for perfection, together with our team’s combined experience in the seafood industry, brings to the world an exquisite range of caviar editions. Many brands offer different grades of caviar of the same species under different editions. Our philosophy for our brand was that each of our editions would feature only the top grade of each species. It’s all about tasting the best of the best. We also have packing stations in London, Dubai and New York and are able to offer next day delivery to the majority of the US, UK, EU and UAE which is a really unique setup.
What is the ideal way to serve and eat Hadid caviar?
As a caviar connoisseur and caviar lover I prefer enjoying it on its own or with very thin crackers that don’t alter the taste of the caviar. Hadid caviar has such a fine and elegant taste and it cannot be compared with the average salty caviar that needs to be paired with blinis or creme fraiche to achieve a balanced taste.
Apart from champagne, what drinks go best with Hadid caviar?
Champagne and vodka are classic pairings for caviar. The former matches luxury with luxury. Champagne’s acidity and bubbles and vodka’s crisp taste are perfect foils for the rich taste of our caviar.
What is Mr Hadid’s favourite caviar?
Mr. Hadid’s favourite is our Black Diamond Edition but because Beluga caviar (Huso Huso) is not allowed in the US, he chooses our Gold Edition (Royal Oscietra) that has already received praised from well-known chefs such as Chef Axel Manes from Robuchon restaurants.
What is next for Hadid Caviar?
Hadid caviar will soon launch at Harrods in London and will be soon available in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and China. We are also preparing our own crackers that will accompany our caviar.
How can you make caviar more affordable?
Caviar’s generic meaning is the eggs of various large fish, mainly sturgeon. There are different species of caviar that can be more affordable than sturgeon but if you want to experience the authentic taste and top quality of sturgeon caviar there is always a premium to be paid as with all luxury items. Having said that our newest edition – Silver – starts at £45 for a 30g tin.
