Bangkok hums with an intoxicating energy, a heady cocktail of colour, sound and movement that never seems to pause. Yet the moment I stepped through the doors of Tower Club at lebua, the city’s clamour dissolved. What replaced it was calm: a world perfumed with delicate floral notes that instantly soothed the senses, as if the hotel itself were breathing serenity into me.
The welcome set the tone. Smiles were warm, gestures polished, and every detail from the cool refreshment pressed into my hand to the graceful ease of check-in. It felt like an invitation to another level of hospitality. Within minutes, I was no longer simply in Bangkok; I was suspended above it, cocooned in elegance, discretion, and allure.
Our Suite
What began as a booking for a one-bedroom suite became an upgrade I’ll never forget: a sprawling two-bedroom suite on the 54th floor, suite 5401. To call it “big” would be an understatement the size varies from 176–186 square metres, this was not a room but an estate in the sky. WOW.
A king bedroom and a twin, each with marble-clad en-suites, promised privacy and indulgence. The living room felt like a stage set for quiet grandeur: a sweeping circular sofa beneath a glittering chandelier, walls of glass framing Bangkok’s skyline as if it were an ever-changing artwork. In one corner, a fully equipped kitchen and dining space; in another, a walk-in luggage room the size of an ordinary hotel bedroom. Hidden within sleek cabinetry, a washing machine and ample storage whispered of thoughtful design.
Three private balconies invited me to drift from skyline to river view, from sunrise to sunset. Contemporary and uncluttered, the design still paid homage to the grande dame and warmth of Thai hospitality. This was more than a suite; it was a sanctuary in the clouds.
Breakfast with a View
Each morning began with theatre. On the M floor, beside the pool, Café Mozu set the stage for breakfast against a backdrop of glittering Bangkok. As I sipped my first coffee, sunlight spilled across the cityscape, and the restless streets below felt like a different world.
The buffet was as international as Bangkok itself: buttery pastries warm from the oven, tropical fruits in their prime, fragrant Thai dishes that tempted me to stray from my usual choices. Service was quietly assured from a plate refilled, a recommendation offered, a smile that never faltered. Here, breakfast wasn’t just a meal; it was an interlude, a pause before the day unfolded.
As the only hotel in Bangkok serves breakfast until 11:00 AM, Café Mozu invites guests to linger a little longer, to take their time between flavours and conversations. Here, breakfast wasn’t just a meal; it was an interlude, a slow, golden pause before the day unfolded.
Tower Club Lounge
As a guest of the Tower Club suites, I discovered an entirely different rhythm upstairs. Breakfast in the Tower Club Lounge, perched on the 52nd floor of the hotel, it felt like stepping into a private world of calm refinement.
The journey began with us enjoying the skywalkway, which is a striking glass passage suspended above the city, framing Bangkok in geometric drama. Inside, the lounge unfolded as a hushed sanctuary. Conversations lingered, pages turned slowly in books, and the city stirred far below. Plates here felt curated rather than abundant, every detail designed to remind me that this was an exclusive ritual, not just a morning routine. Here, complimentary soft and alcoholic beverages flow throughout the day, accompanied by an elegant selection of canapés, snacks, and high tea.

Sky Bar by lebua – A World Icon
No stay at Tower Club at lebua, felt complete without ascending to the Sky Bar by lebua, the jewel that crowns the 64th floor beneath lebua’s golden dome. Instantly recognisable from The Hangover Part II, the bar is as cinematic in person as it appears on screen.
I arrived just as the sun began its descent, the Bangkok skyline blushing in shades of rose and gold. With the city glittering below me, I ordered the legendary Hangovertini, a curious and elegant blend of green tea liqueur, Martini Rosso, green apple juice, and rosemary honey, originally created for the film’s cast. Sipping it felt like indulging in a piece of Bangkok’s pop culture history. Around me, Champagne was poured with finesse, whiskies were savoured like rare treasures, and cocktails emerged as much a performance as a drink. Sky Bar, I realised, is not simply a rooftop; it is an essential chapter of Bangkok itself.
The Pool – A Hidden Retreat
By day, the hotel pool became my sanctuary above the chaos. From a lounger angled towards the Chao Phraya River, I watched the light dance across the water as staff quietly appeared with chilled towels, fresh juices, and delicate bites. It was effortless luxury, the kind that makes you forget the city’s humidity and noise exist just below.
But it was at dusk that the pool cast its real spell. As Bangkok lit up, the water reflected the city’s shimmer, and I slipped into the stillness of the evening. Swimming beneath a twilight sky, then reclining with a cocktail in hand, I felt suspended in a private world where time slowed to a whisper.
Location & Surroundings
Staying at Tower Club at lebua also meant being perfectly placed to explore. From Silom, the city unfolded in layers. One morning, I hopped onto a riverboat and within minutes stood before the spires of Wat Arun and the grandeur of the Grand Palace. Another day led me down the neon-drenched lanes of Chinatown, where street food stalls sizzled into the night. And when I wanted Bangkok at its most cosmopolitan, the BTS Saphan Taksin station carried me directly to the city’s modern pulse.
Evenings often ended closer to home — a stroll through Asiatique Night Market, a rooftop drink, or simply watching the river traffic drift by. I never felt far from anything, yet always anchored in opulence.
Beyond the Stay
The indulgence extended well beyond the suite. Within The Dome, lebua’s dining playground unfolded. I found myself swept into the artistry of Mezzaluna by lebua, where two Michelin stars shine brightly over Bangkok, and later charmed by the Mediterranean notes of Sirocco by lebua, high in the sky. The spa, too, became part of my rhythm, a place where tension simply melted away, and the fitness centre ensured indulgence was balanced with vitality.
What impressed me most, however, was the consistency of the service. Whether offering a cocktail at the Sky Bar by lebua, replenishing breakfast at the lounge, or anticipating an unspoken need in the suite, the staff seemed to operate on instinct. Luxury here is never loud; it is seamless.
Overall
Reflecting on my time at Tower Club at lebua, I realised this was far more than a stay; it was a performance staged high above Bangkok, where every moment felt curated for memory. From the drama of Sky Bar by lebua to the sanctuary of the pool, the precision of the room design to the gentle rituals of the lounge, it was an experience that transcended the expected.
For me, Tower Club was not just a hotel. It was Bangkok’s high life distilled, a true icon in the sky.
