.Barut Hotels have proudly opened the Anda Barut Collection, a new luxury haven that’s set to make waves in Didim, Turkey. With over 150 million Euros sunk into this project. They’ve not only transformed the region into a prime tourist hotspot but also given its economy and community a major boost.
The grand opening was a celebratory “Weekend of Wellness with Olympic Medallists” where guests got to flex with world-class athletes in activities like running, beach fitness, swimming, rowing, yoga and dance. It was a spectacle to behold.
Getting there
With Bodrum Airport in Turkey lying only an hour’s drive away from the Hotel, JET2 departs from 11 different UK airports, providing the most comfortable arrival process. Whether it be London Stansted, Bristol or Glasgow, JET2 flies you out to Bodrum directly with one of their many UK flights a week. And just in case the flights to Bodrum are not enough, flights to Izmir airports are also available which are only followed by a two-hour drive bringing you to the hotel.
Following your arrival in Bodrum or Izmir, from both airports, it is most recommendable to finish up your travels by car. Ask the hotel for an airport transfer or simply take a taxi at the airport.

Our Room
The Anda Barut Collection in Didim redefines modern luxury; Expansive living spaces and striking architecture provide a sophisticated backdrop, while gourmet restaurants tempt with culinary delights. Private pools offer serene retreats and exclusive playgrounds ensure children are entertained in style. At Anda Barut, luxury is not a mere promise but a meticulously crafted experience, where every detail is designed to satisfy your every whim!
Staying in the Deluxe Adult Room in the exclusive adult zone was an unforgettable experience. The room, spanning 54 square meters and including a private balcony, provided a tranquil sanctuary with breathtaking sea views. Moreover, the space was perfect, with the option of a sumptuous super king bed or two luxurious super single beds. I opted for the king bed, which was incredibly comfortable.
Additionally, the room’s smart automation system and central air conditioning made everything effortlessly convenient. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities: a safe deposit box, a vanity table with a mirror, and a well-organised dressing section. The hair dryer and straighteners were handy (especially the diffuser! I have curly hair and the majority of hotels always seem to forget to add a diffuser. Super convenient!), as were the iron and ironing board.
Every morning, I savoured coffee from the capsule machine and enjoyed a selection of teas from the tea and coffee set, with the mini bar providing additional indulgences to enjoy on the balcony at sunset. Entertainment was top-notch, with a 55″ LCD Ultra HD Smart IP TV, Chromecast, and a variety of satellite channels. Staying connected was easy with the reliable wireless internet, which works seamlessly, throughout the whole hotel.
In particular, the bathroom was a highlight, featuring a luxurious double sink and an invigorating rain shower. The parquet flooring added a touch of elegance to the room. The balcony quickly became my favourite spot to soak in the stunning sea views. Staying in this room wasn’t just a stay; it was a beautifully crafted experience, perfect for adults seeking comfort and luxury.
Other accommodation options
If you wish to stay within the Adult Zone the Anda Barut Collection equally offers accommodation in what they call the Penthouse, providing you with a guaranteed sea view or even a sea view with a private pool. With both options having vast 82 square meters the suite has nothing to spare. The terrace with two sunbeds, allows a perfect view of the deep blue Aegean Sea providing the perfect holiday view. Adding to all the Amenities already present in the Deluxe Double Room, the Penthouse includes a complete living area with a large sofa and even a living room table, ensuring any needs are catered to.
Located in the community area, alongside the Deluxe Rooms and the Penthouse Suites, Anda Barut Collection offers the Presidential Suite. The suite goes up to 285 square meters, with up to three bedrooms, a private swimming pool and of course guaranteed sea view. Being located on the top floor of the Hotel, the Suite caters to family vacations and joint trips with friends. The Presidential Suite provides privacy to all whilst maintaining a communal spirit. The room also comes with more benefits such as free room service, a welcoming face mask treatment and even prioritised restaurant reservations making this the most exclusive room and service the hotel has to offer.
All-inclusive drinking and dining
During my stay at the Anda Barut Collection, the gastronomy was nothing short of extraordinary. Each meal was a culinary journey, showcasing a blend of international flavours and local delicacies that delighted my palate.
I started my days at the main restaurant ‘Zestful Bazaar’, where breakfast was a lavish spread. The fresh pastries, exotic fruits and made-to-order omelettes were just the beginning. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, making it the perfect start to my mornings.
For lunch and dinner, I had the pleasure of dining at various themed restaurants. One evening, I indulged in authentic Turkish cuisine at the Kara A’la Carte Restaurant. Imagine rich savoury dishes, from tender kebabs to perfectly seasoned mezes. The baklava ice cream sandwich for dessert was a sweet symphony of flaky pastry, nuts, and honey. If you are in one of the restaurants near the adult pool, look out for local wildlife including friendly local cats and even a tortoise!
Even if you are there with your children and a real desire for a simple children’s meal occurs, there is nothing to worry about. The Pink Rabbit Kid Buffet offers a grand selection of choices perfect for children of any age, with many healthy options as well. Even for the preparation of any baby food, the buffet will provide you with any equipment needed perfect to satisfy even the smallest of customers.
Restaurant Variety
Fish Camp Restaurant became another favourite. The fresh seafood dishes were a standout, particularly the grilled octopus and sea bass! Each bite was a testament to the chef’s mastery and the freshness of the ingredients. Pairing these dishes with a crisp, chilled white wine enhanced my experience even further.
One night, I decided to explore the flavours of Asia at Tiger Restaurant. The chef artfully prepared the sushi, while the curries were absolutely bursting with vibrant spices and coconut richness. The attention to detail in every dish was remarkable. There’s no wonder why this A’la Carte restaurant was so popular. Just be sure to book, as these tables fill up fast!
Dining at Mansion Restaurant was however probably the highlight of my stay at the Anda Barut Collection. Exclusively serving the adult zone, this culinary haven offered favourite delicacies from world cuisine all day long. From breakfast until late at night, I enjoyed a gourmet journey in a vibrant and delightful setting, right by the sea. The menu, rich and varied, evolved throughout the day, presenting delicious breakfast alternatives, to mouth-watering expertly grilled dishes. Every meal at Mansion was an exquisite experience, perfectly crafted to satisfy the palate.
Olivae Patisserie soon became my evening ritual; With its divine aroma of baked cakes, this sweet tooth teaser offered treats like homemade chocolates, ice cream and pastries, all perfectly complimented with a rich coffee menu.
A culinary experience
Throughout my stay, room service was another delightful option. There’s something incredibly indulgent about enjoying a gourmet meal in the comfort of my room, with a breathtaking sea view as the backdrop. The menu offers an extensive range of dishes, ensuring satisfaction for even the most discerning palate.
Similarly, even when it comes to beverages, there is nothing Anda Barut does not spare anything. Whether it is a refresher throughout the day at one of the many pool bars or a simple drink to end the perfect day at the Ease Lobby Lounge Bar & Terrace your desires will be met. Or if you are in search of a livelier evening accompanied by music, make sure to check out Soa Playhouse with vibes and drinks.
The Anda Barut Collection’s commitment to gastronomy was evident in every bite. Each meal was an experience, meticulously crafted to delight and inspire. Whether dining in one of the exquisite restaurants or enjoying a meal in my room, the culinary offerings at Anda Barut Collection were a focal point of my stay.

The on-site Adventure Park is the perfect sport for both Kids and Adults. A vast range of waterslides for teens and adults is perfect for those in search of adrenaline. Anyone interested in playing sports, the tennis and basketball courts or the small football field are open for anyone. Even for the younger children, the water-play structure provides a safe environment with small water slides and many different toys for even the smallest guests to seek adventure.
If you’re searching for a relaxing swim, Anda Barut Collection provides you with a large range of possibilities. Choose between the possibility of a dip into the Aegean Sea on a private beach of the hotel or one of the 5 large outdoor pools, between which you can even choose whether you prefer sea or fresh water. At the adult pool, look out for waiters on roller skates who whizz round and take your drinks order. A really fun touch.
If you’re on a family vacation, the children will stay entertained and engaged. Furthermore, the range of youth clubs caters towards children of different ages. They provide perfect care and activities for children of any age group. The Bary Star Club provides the youngest children with the utmost care allowing parents a moment for themselves.
Whilst the children are in good hands in one of the Kids Clubs, adults have the perfect opportunity to engage in their own activities. Within the area many beautiful places to discover such as Bafa Lake or the ancient cities in Didim. If you want to stay on the property you can experience a vast selection of water sports available, followed by a relaxing visit to the hotel spa.
Spa
During my stay at Anda Barut Collection, the spa experience was superb. I began with a traditional Turkish bath, where the warm, marble surroundings and expert attendants made me feel like royalty. The ritual of steaming, scrubbing, and rinsing left my skin feeling incredibly smooth and rejuvenated. All in all, it was a deeply relaxing and purifying experience, steeped in tradition.
Next, I indulged in a Balinese massage, performed by a professional therapist who used renowned techniques to melt away my knots. The combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatic oils transported me to a state of blissful tranquillity. It was the perfect way to refresh both my body and mind, leaving me energized and completely relaxed. The gym has a variety of equipment to keep you in shape.
Things To Do Nearby
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Bafa Lake, just a short distance from the resort. The lake, surrounded by olive trees and ancient ruins, was breathtakingly beautiful. Watching the red sun reflect on the tranquil waters was a magical experience. It was enhanced by the legend of the moon goddess Selene. The serene atmosphere and stunning views made it a memorable excursion.
Miletus, just 28 km away, is the cradle of civilisation, art, and science. Home to famous philosophers like Thales, it features ruins from multiple historical periods, including a remarkably preserved Roman theatre.
