With the festive season fast approaching, Kanishka, the acclaimed pan-Indian restaurant in the heart of Mayfair, is bringing the perfect balance of warmth and spice to guests with a selection of three, four and five-course festive menus. Created by renowned chef Atul Kochhar, each menu has been inspired by his love of traditional Indian cuisine and offers an alternative dining experience to the traditional Christmas feast.
Festive Bites
Available until 31 December, each menu has been carefully designed to showcase Atul’s unique and innovative style of modern Indian cooking. Fusing traditional Indian flavours with the finest British ingredients, the five-course menu is the perfect option for those looking to celebrate with friends, family and colleagues this Christmas.

Sip on a crisp glass of champagne and begin with a selection of canapés and poppadoms served with homemade chutneys for the table before two of the restaurant’s signature starters — Baked Scallop with almond korma and Chicken Tikka Pie served with berry chutney. For main, guests can choose from three options including Tandoori Monkfish; Karwari Jhinga — marinated semolina prawns; or Murg Tikka Masala — tandoor grilled chicken in onion and tomato masala served alongside Pachrangi dal, five lentil stew, Subz Biryani, bread and raita. Round off the meal with an indulgent Chocolate Bombe, Christmas Pudding and berries.

Premium Cocktails
Especially for December, the restaurant has created two festive-inspired cocktails to perfectly complement the tasting menus. Opt for Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey, cherry brandy, dried fruit syrup and orange bitter, garnished with a dehydrated orange slice sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon powder, or the Spice Clementine Whiskey made with Atul Kochhar’s Single Malt Scotch Whiskey Caol lla — 7 years, honey, clementine juice, cinnamon, cloves and ginger served on ice with a cinnamon stick garnish.
For a more intimate affair, the restaurant has a range of beautifully decorated private rooms including the Maddox, Oxford and Regent rooms which seat 8, 14 and 18 respectively. The entire restaurant can also be exclusively hired for up to 50 guests seated or 100 standing.
The five, four and three-course tasting menus are priced at £105pp, £75pp and £65pp respectively. Vegetarian alternatives are provided at the same price across all three festive menus, with optional wine pairing available at an additional price on request.
