The internationally acclaimed French-Mediterranean restaurant LPM unveils three stunning new coastal destinations, bringing its iconic Riviera flair to Marbella’s Golden Mile, the shores of Kuwait, and the pristine islands of the Maldives.
Renowned for its elegant simplicity, Mediterranean warmth, and vibrant cuisine inspired by the French Riviera, La Petite Maison (LPM) continues its international expansion with three high-profile openings in some of the world’s most desirable coastal locations.
Following its celebrated presence in culinary capitals like London, Dubai, Miami, and Hong Kong, LPM is set to open new flagship restaurants in Kuwait (November 2025), Marbella (early 2026), and the Maldives (2027). Strengthening the brand’s foothold in both Middle Eastern and European luxury markets, while marking a bold debut in South Asia.

Mediterranean Magic on the Arabian Gulf
LPM’s Kuwait launch will be a refined beachfront escape, nestled along the iconic Arabian Gulf Street and offering panoramic views near the landmark Kuwait Towers. The restaurant has been developed in collaboration with Al Dhow Hospitality and Touristic Enterprises Company (TEC). Much like its sister venues, the new location channels the charm of the Côte d’Azur, brought to life by Sagrada, the design studio behind LPM London and Dubai. Expect Belle Époque elegance fused with contemporary coastal textures: breezy terraces, a light-filled dining room, and a lively bar reimagining LPM’s signature cocktail program with innovative mocktails tailored to the region.

Marbella: A Riviera Homecoming
Marking its first-ever restaurant in Spain, LPM’s upcoming Marbella flagship promises to be a defining moment for the brand. Located within the lush grounds of the Boho Club between Puerto Banús and the Pirulí, the 800-square-metre venue will embody the aesthetic and spirit of a classic Riviera villa. Set against subtropical gardens with indoor and outdoor spaces designed to flex with the seasons, the Marbella outpost will host up to 160 guests.
Slated for early 2026, the venue offers more than just beautiful surroundings. It extends LPM’s Mediterranean philosophy back into Europe, where it began nearly two decades ago. A preview pop-up event is planned for late 2025, giving lucky guests an early taste of what’s to come.

A Taste of the Riviera in the Maldives
In 2027, LPM brings its distinctive brand of coastal luxury to the Rosewood Resort Ranfaru in the Maldives. Set amid turquoise waters and lush tropical vegetation, the restaurant will reflect the resort’s “A Sense of Place®” ethos with an intimate open-air dining experience. With only 33 indoor covers, 38 in the outdoor lounge, and a private dining room with sweeping sunset views, this will be LPM at its most exclusive and atmospheric.
The Maldives venture represents more than just another picturesque location; it’s a deliberate move into sustainable, experience-led hospitality. Rosewood’s focus on privacy, eco-consciousness, and curated luxury complements LPM’s commitment to quality and enduring elegance.
The Flavours That Define LPM
At the heart of LPM’s enduring global appeal is a menu that balances elegance with effortlessness. A culinary love letter to the sun-drenched coasts of Southern France and Italy. The food is light, ingredient-driven, and designed for sharing, with standout dishes that have become signatures in every city the brand touches such as the sharing Whole Roast Black Leg Chicken with foie gras. The original and still the best version (in London).
Among them, the warm prawns with olive oil, a deceptively simple dish, embodies LPM’s ethos: fresh, high-quality ingredients elevated with precision and restraint. The pissaladière, a caramelised onion tart anchored by black olives and anchovies, offers a nod to traditional Niçoise street food, reinterpreted with finesse. Beef and tuna carpaccios, laced with subtle seasoning and citrus, provide a cool, delicate counterpoint to the richer fare. A must-try are the escargots. Unlike anything we have ever had, the butter is more than a garlic butter. It is almost a cafe de Paris style butter laced with beautiful ingredients enveloping these huge French snails.
No visit to LPM is complete without the Tomatini, the brand’s cult-favourite cocktail. Shaken, not stirred, this bright, savoury libation blends fresh tomato juice, vodka, white balsamic vinegar, and basil, striking a perfect harmony between refreshing and complex. The creation is then garnished at the table with black pepper. It captures LPM’s talent for redefining expectations, offering familiar Mediterranean flavours in stylish, unexpected ways.

A Benchmark in Global Hospitality
With recent accolades including Restaurant of the Decade in Dubai (2024), placements in MENA’s 50 Best Restaurants, and a debut in the World’s 50 Best Bars (#76), LPM continues to set the standard for contemporary French-Mediterranean dining. Its expansion into Marbella, Kuwait, and the Maldives is a testament not just to the brand’s culinary vision, but to its ability to create atmospheres of timeless glamour.
As the restaurant readies its next chapter across these three coastlines, it remains the epitome of joie de vivre, transporting us all to the French Riviera, one impeccably prepared dish, and one Tomatini at a time.
