Maroto London has relaunched and rebranded under the watchful expert eye of nightlife legend Aaron Benito. Branded as a refined and rather funky evening experience and a rare late-night dining option, it has attracted a diverse crowd with its vibrant array of music, food and drinks.

Location and Aesthetic
Maroto’s late-night chic vibe fits right into the Mayfair atmosphere, along elegant streets of one of the most high-end areas of London are Michelin-starred restaurants and leading fashion brands. It’s Brazilian-inspired drinks and entertainment are a particularly unique addition to the area, especially the late-night element. Open until 5am, some nights you can expect the hottest DJs too like Marco Carola, arguably the global ambassador of techno.

Maroto London Music and Atmosphere
Expect a softly lit downstairs space where the atmosphere builds as the night moves along, with its interior design taking inspiration from the 1930s Art Deco movement. Maroto London welcomes all until late, savouring the meticulously crafted cocktail menu and enjoying the musical offering curated by Musical Director Shane Mac and manager Aaron Benito. Aaron really understands London nightlife and is so passionate about what he does.
Located nearby Oxford Street, it is an elegant yet accessible bar offering a late-night dining experience, a rarity in London. Maroto is described as a place to surprise and engage, with an elaborate interior design. It’s comprised of enticing and inviting low seating, split levels, an exceptional music system and multi-faceted and colourful interiors. It can be best described as an experience and less of a typical club. The main interior space seats 150, while the private areas will fit 25-30 and a rather cool smoking space is available for all to peruse.

Drinks and Dining – Maroto Restaurant
Maroto Restaurant upstairs is worth a visit before the night begins. The atmosphere is elegant and relaxed. The menu items at Maroto Restaurant upstairs follow the luxury aesthetic with a concise menu of dishes. To start, a selection of cured fish dishes and a beef tartare headline the starters. The glazed aubergine with houmous is also a winner. For main course, a must try are the lamb chops with smoked aubergine as well as the ox cheek with a creamy polenta.
Cocktail offerings here are a reflection of creativity and quality. Signature drinks include the Marotinha, blending Zeca de Matos cachaca with berries and lime, and the Sabia, a mix of Patron Silver, pineapple soda, passionfruit, and lime. Drinks here offer guests a taste of Brazil’s vibrant cocktail culture, coming from meticulous crafting and vibrant flair. Even their non-alcoholic versions maintain the same taste and sophistication.
