OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI is not only a resort but an entire experience that defines a luxury all-inclusive trip. Its luxurious service begins right from the airport with its Reserve Plan. Once you land, you’ll immediately be taken into OZEN’s private lounge to relax while waiting for the speedboat to pick you up.

The moment you arrive at Bolifushi Island, you’ll be welcomed by a traditional Maldivian conch shell ceremony with body Beru drumming, flowers, a coconut and a palm-leaf necklace — you’ll definitely stay smiling that entire day. Moreover, the Reserve Plan will ensure you have gourmet dining, premium spirits and amazing wellness experiences (especially at the ELE|NA Spa).

Villas
Set in the island’s most secluded area, the scenery overlooking the turquoise waters from each villa is stunning. The best way to get around the resort is by bike. Each villa has its own bicycles, and it is such a charming way to move around the resort. Some of the ocean villas even have slides leading into the lagoon; you can wake up, hop into the slide and glide straight into the water. This feature is offered at The Ocean Pool Suite, accommodating up to three people, or The Ocean Pool Reserve for four people and a more lavish stay. Both villas offer amenities like overwater hammocks, but what sets the Ocean Pool Reserve apart is its larger private space with panoramic views from floor-to-ceiling windows and a luxurious private deck. There’s also an option to stay at The Ocean Pool Suite without a slide.

Overlooking the sea but sitting closer to the island, with lush green gardens surrounding them and private beach access, the Earth Villas are tranquil and beautiful. If you’re an early bird, you can get the Earth Pool Sunrise Villa — but if you prefer to sleep in, take the sunset one, as you’ll want to watch this breathtaking view unfold. These two villas accommodate up to three people, so if you’re a larger group, you can opt for the Earth Pool Pavilion, which accommodates up to four people and features a private garden with a freestanding bathtub, as well as an L-shaped pool to lounge by.

Spanning two floors, the panoramic view of the Earth Pool Reserve will leave you speechless. While it comfortably fits four people, you can upgrade to a larger suite for up to six visitors. True to its name, The Royal Reserve nestles in the calm southern enclave of the island. With its main ‘Sanctuary’ and two guest villas, this three-bedroom haven has breathtaking ocean vistas, exclusive access to a private beach, an intimate spa, an overwater bar, a personalised buggy and a wine cellar. It also includes a dining pavilion with a private chef, ensuring a true royal stay.

All-inclusive Luxury Gastronomy
The Reserve Plan lets you explore 101 wine labels across all of OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI’s restaurants and the in-villa maxi bar with no risk to your bill. This impressive offering was recognised this autumn when a brand-new Best All-Inclusive category was introduced for the first time to The World of Fine Wine’s annual World’s Best Wine List Awards and OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI was the winner for the Asia region, winning Best All-Inclusive Wine List as well as Best Spirits List in Asia. The indulgence doesn’t stop there — guests can also partake in champagne and wine masterclasses, featuring tastings paired with delicious food.

The depth of quality in the food offering is astonishing. For modern European cuisine, head to ORIGINƎ, serving three distinct menus paired with wine — meat, seafood and vegetarian. The fine dining style restaurant also overlooks the water and has a gorgeous wine room for private events or an intimate dinner. Expect great-quality steak and fresh fish, including lobster.
Staying true to its roots, Saffron adds a touch of this golden spice to every dish, offering an authentic Indian Thali dining experience. Set against the backdrop of the Maldivian ocean and pristine white sands, this is a must-visit. Their Thalis, served on a large round plate with an assortment of small dishes, cater to all preferences—whether vegan, vegetarian or meat-based. The Thali allows guests to enjoy a little bit of everything. The setting is stunning, too, as you are welcomed to the restaurant by washing your hands in rose water.

Then, Soyi will leave you craving more with its Pan-Asian dishes, blending Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indonesian and Malaysian flavours. Standouts include Szechwan Tofu, Cantonese Chicken Soup, Thai Red Curry Prawns and Indonesian Beef Rendang.
As one of the healthiest ancient cuisines in the world, SANGU Beach Restaurant serves Levantine and Moroccan food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They even have a beach bar to celebrate these flavours, with signature highlights like Polome Sand, combining Camino tequila, pink grapefruit and lime juice. The food is super authentic. I met the Egyptian chef who made my favourite dishes, the dishes cooked by my mum. The tabouleh and the hummus with meat are a must-try.
Another drinking and dining spots is Vista Del Mar for an international buffet-style menu. A highlight at breakfast was the fruit station, where the team prepared exotic fruit. At lunch, the highlight of the day was the sushi station. A chef will prepare sushi for you to order while you wait, and we had the most tender buttery salmon nigiri. This is a buffet that celebrates the best of everything, and we were the first at the door every day. The other great thing about Vista Del Mar is that there are three seating options – outside, a covered outdoor area and inside.

Spa and Wellness
Run by ELE|NA Spa, the wellness and spa at OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI is another level. With soothing water therapies led by skilled experts, the Ocean Flow therapy blends Watsu, Water Dance, Ayurveda and Shiatsu to alleviate stress, improve mobility, relieve pain and combat insomnia. Drawing inspiration from other elements in nature, additional therapies are designed to revitalise you on a deeper level — fire ignites zest and energy, wood rejuvenates and restores, earth promotes harmony and balance, and metal aids in detoxification.
Beyond these, you can also try other treatments like Energy Healing, inspired by ancient techniques, and cupping to rejuvenate the body and mind. For a radiant glow, the Flow Facial Ritual begins with a calming foot ritual and personalised face consultation, followed by an acupressure massage using a magnetic pen and copper spoon, leaving you fresh and relaxed.

Through a variety of workshops, you’ll learn practical self-care techniques that you can continue using long after your stay. OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI recently introduced Vihaara: a serene sanctuary where you can immerse yourself in the art of sustainable alchemy. Here, you’ll craft your own homecare potions, including handmade soaps, aromatic oils, incense sticks and scrubs— ideal for bringing a sense of Maldivian tranquillity back home. ELE|NA Spa is the first and only spa in the Maldives to achieve the Gold Standard accreditation for Sustainable Spa Operations by the International Sustainable Wellness Association.

Watersports
With some of the world’s rarest coral reefs, you can head to the Dive Centre for certification to explore caves and exotic sea creatures and traverse ancient shipwrecks – the resort even has its own coral reef. If you’re after something less intense, you could try signing up for the snorkelling trips or take a ride on a semi-submarine. These activities are not included but are worth a look. You can collect your snorkel equipment (free of charge) from the Dive Centre and keep it in your villa until you’re ready to hand it back.
Overall
OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI is the epitome of all-inclusive luxury in the Maldives without being inaccessible. The prime location near the capital, as well as the depth of quality in this all-inclusive offering, makes this somewhere you could visit over and over again.
