The iconic rooftop bar Savage Garden is proud to introduce its newest creation: the “Legends and Libations” concept. This seasonal offering invites guests on a journey through myths and legends from around the world, infused with the vibrant flavours and aromas of spring. Indulge in delectable drinks and dishes while taking in the best sights the London skyline has to offer, including The Shard, Tower Bridge, and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
Marco Matesi, Alessandro Lintas and the team have been busy creating this new menu which not only includes new inspired cocktails but also a reimagined food menu.

The Concept and Drinks Highlights
Savage Garden’s multi-cultural take on mythology is sure to take you on a flavourful journey around the world with drinks like “Caipora”, “Kitai”, and “Aphrodite’s Garden”. The delicious “Caipora” pays homage to a folkloric guardian of wildlife in Brazil. The flavors of mango and passionfruit mingle with the Cachaca Yaguara to capture the essence of Spring and transport you to Brazil. “Kitai“, which means anticipation, expectation and hope in Japanese, includes Suntory Hibiki, Akashi, Cocchi Americano, plum kombucha and Franklin & Son soda mix.

Another divine elixir is the tomato-based “Aphrodite’s garden”. The Ancient Greeks believed that the humble tomato symbolised love and passion, making it the perfect choice to capture the essence of the original myth. This creative concoction, made of Ojo de Dios Mezcal, Axia extra dry mastiha, Everleaf 0% Marine, tomato liquor, oregano tincture, and tomato water is as tantalising as a love potion. The garnish on this drink is one of the most delicious in London. Tomato water from ripe tomatoes is garnished with the spare tomato fibre, expertly crafted into a crunchy leather in a move which reduces waste and creates an unforgettable sensory experience.
“Aphrodite’s Garden” is just one eco-friendly highlight in a menu specially curated to minimise environmental impact without compromising on taste. Expired still and sparkling white wines will be infused with fruits instead of being wasted, making Savage Garden the place to be if you’re looking to quench your thirst with Mango & Passionfruit Wine, Prickly Pear Wine and Watermelon Wine. Traditional citrus juices are also replaced with acidity from white wine infusions to further minimise waste while enhancing the seasonal experience.

Something that cannot be missed is the SATORI x OCT – A creation in partnership with “Ocean Conservation Trust”, who focus on protecting and conserving the ocean. With every drink sold, Savage Garden will be donating £1 to the trust. Served in an elegant bowl, expect Plymouth gin, Amaro Santoni, Doragrossa chinotto, Campari, Gattertop Damson No.12 and Franklin & Sons pink grapefruit soda. A bitter-sweet sensation.

What about the food?
There are new enticing additions to its culinary offerings, perfectly paired with the imaginative cocktails of the Spring “Legends & Libations” menu. The menu has been redesigned to include more vegan and veg options as well as some favourites. Highlights include the Italian Cheese Arancini, featuring a blend of provolone, parmigiano, and pecorino cheeses with green peas, served alongside vegan Nduja mayo. Other must-haves include the savoury Mushroom Bao Buns with Sriracha Fable Pulled Mushroom and tender Tentacle Charred Octopus, complemented by beetroot, pomegranate, curry oil, curried carrot, and squid ink tapioca crackers, perfect for Spring. Our favourite, some spicy coated cauliflower wings with gunpowder spices and coconut raita. Simple and utterly delicious.
Long-time fans of Savage Garden will be delighted to learn that its new mythical masterpiece menu has done nothing to change the bar’s original atmosphere. A visit to Savage Garden still promises moonlit nights, panoramic city views, and a tantalising blend of flavours that is sure to ignite your senses.
