The Chinese-born global-orientated high-tech automotive company, announces its official entry to the UK and kicked off the pre-sale of its first right-hand drive model. This UK launch marks a pivotal moment for the future of AI-driven and electric vehicles (EVs). XPENG, known for its cutting-edge innovations, is set to reshape the British EV landscape. Its lineup includes the world’s first AI-defined car, the XPENG P7+, and the revolutionary eVTOL X2 flying car. In addition, its right-hand-drive flagship SUV, the XPENG G6, is now available for pre-order. Prices start at £39,990, and deliveries are scheduled for March 2025.

The Line-Up
XPENG’s UK debut showcased an impressive lineup of smart AI-defined vehicles, offering a glimpse into a future where electric mobility, connectivity and automation merge seamlessly:
- XPENG P7+, the world’s first AI-defined vehicle – The AI Hawkeye Visual Solution incorporates two 8M cameras, millimeter-wave radars, and ultrasonic radars, delivering clear, precise, and extended-range vision, enabling the P7+ to perform effectively in various lighting and weather conditions, from low light to high contrast environments. The XOS 5.4 platform enhances human-like interaction fourfold, with a 53% increase in lane-change success and a 155% improvement in detour handling.
- XPENG G6, Ultra Smart Coupe SUV – Fast charging of up to 280 kW so you can charge from 10 to 80% in under 20 minutes. It is comfy too with enveloping comfort seats that offer 8-way electric adjustment and 4-way lumbar support.
- XPENG G9, Ultra Intelligent Flagship SUV – This SUV combines design with advanced technology. It features 31 sensors for driver assistance and a funky 3D multimedia system.
- XPENG X9, Ultra Smart Large Seven-seater – A family-friendly car with features like a hot and cold fridge, a 21.4″ infotainment display, zero-gravity chairs and a six mode massage function.
- eVTOL X2 flying car by XPENG AEROHT – This autonomous eVTOL multicopter aircraft holds two passengers and there is enough room for luggage! The aircraft will also easily fit into a garage, driveway or standard parking space.
Pre orders are open for the XPENG G6, starting at £39,990. British consumers can be among the first to experience a premium electric SUV. This SUV offers high performance, advanced technology and zero tailpipe emissions; as well as 800-volt supercharging and an extended driving range. Its next-generation operating systems and premium features set a new standard in electric mobility.

IML is known for its work with premium brands such as Subaru and Isuzu among others. Through this partnership, 20 XPENG dealerships will open across the UK in 2025, ensuring a seamless ownership experience with robust aftersales support. Consequently, this collaboration signals XPENG’s serious commitment to the UK market, guaranteeing that buyers of these futuristic vehicles receive world-class service, maintenance and customer support.

The future is closer than we think
XPENG is not stopping with the UK. Since their foundation in 2015, over 620,000 Smart EVs have been delivered. They entered the European market in Norway in 2021. Since then, the company has expanded into key markets including Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and now in the UK, with more expansion plans.
2025 will be a turning point in the history of XPENG. Started in January with the presentation of two strategic partnerships with global industry leaders, Volkswagen and BP Pulse. The aim is to conclude the year by expanding its presence in more than 60 countries and regions.
