BST Hyde Park returns this month for its 11th anniversary year with two classical music experiences, All Things Orchestral on Friday 28 June, and Andrea Bocelli on Friday 5 July.

The full repertoire has now been announced for All Things Orchestral, with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra transporting the audience through time — from Beethoven to Back to the Future, Hans Zimmer to The Hunger Games!

Hosted by Myleene Klass, guests include guitarist MILOŠ and violinist Esther Abrami. The event will be conducted by Michael England and performed by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, a classical celebration including music from Star Wars, Jurassic Park, The Wizard of Oz, and Indiana Jones, and honouring composers like Ludwig Beethoven, Edvard Grieg, Benedetto Marcello, and Luigi Boccherini.

The event features the European debut of American composer Laura Karpman’s 2019 piece ‘All American’, with percussion instruments made from kitchen tools. Additionally, Le Gateau Chocolat will bring a blend of drag, opera, theatre, and cabaret, marking London Pride.

Then, a week later, international superstar Andrea Bocelli will headline London’s best festival on Friday 5 July, the first classical artist to headline in BST Hyde Park’s history. Katherine Jenkins OBE and Matteo Bocelli will perform their own exclusive sets.
