With branches in Hammersmith and Ealing, Patri launched the biggest-ever Thali in the UK known as The Grand Thali, offering a selection of 25 dishes – including Delhi’s Aloo Tikki Chaat, London’s Boyfriend Chaat and Old Delhi Pani Bombs – accompanied by a jug of Mango Lassi and two desserts.
The Thali is the idea of founder Puneet Wadhwani and is a celebration of ALL of India. Usually, Thalis represent a region or a genre of Indian food, but this Thali is the true dream, especially for those who can never decide what to have. The Thali is also made for sharing so with 3-4 hungry people, this is actually extraordinary value. This eye-catching Thali features little tasters from the restaurant’s best-selling dishes assembled on a HUGE tray.
To savour The Grand Thali experience, you must book in advance, and while the platter needs half an hour to prepare, Patri serves a selection of starters to keep hunger pangs at bay.

Patri’s Best-Selling Dishes in the Grand Thali
Starters: Vibrant DIY Pani Puri Bombs, Not-Your-Butter-Chicken Samosas, and more, reminiscent of bustling bazaars and street food delights. The Pani Puri Bombs are the deal deal. Crispy and sturdy, pop a hole in the top and add the masala, a sprinkle of chopped onion and the sauces. The great thing about these little falavour bombe is that they open the appetite as dinner goes on.

Tandoori Delights: Smokey and juicy, expect dishes like Tandoori Broccoli, Nawabi Seekh Kebab, and Tandoori Chicken Tikka, chickwn wings and more paying homage to the age-old tandoor cooking techniques which Patri is proud of.
Signature Mains: There will be a symphony of flavours with dishes like Butter Chicken, Super Tender and Spicy Rogan Josh, triple minced keema, alongside Kerelan Sea Food Moilee with Dal Makhani and Proper Punjabi Kadhi.
Sides & Accompaniments: You’ll find puffy and buttery naan, garlic naan, two types of rice and more.
Desserts: A proper Halwa, Gulab Jamun and more are placed in the middle to add a great ending to the Grand Thali.

Grand Thali Specials
Not only does Patri adapt the platter for vegetarians, but it’s also launching a special summer version featuring four of its best cocktails, including a wide array of artisan gins, rums, and other spirits.
Founded in 2018, Patri quickly became an overnight hit with local, west London, and wider London diners. Wadhwani created the brand to revive dishes and snacks he once enjoyed as a child aboard India’s great rail journeys and near New Delhi’s train station where he grew up. From rail side snacks like ‘girlfriend chaat’ cooked on platforms and handed to travellers through train windows, to fragrant curries such as ‘rara gosht’ prepared onboard, Patri’s menu honours the culinary experiences of India’s historic railway stations. Flavours are bold, authentic, and colourful; service is warm and friendly; interiors are bright and bustling. The Ealing branch opened first, followed by the Hammersmith site.
