Broadwick Soho is a vibe. From the moment you are greeted at the front door through to the last sip of Italian Barolo, everything just feels right. As seductive and characterful as its historic location, Broadwick Soho is an independent luxury hotel in the heart of London’s West End, channelling the grit, glamour, and wild energy of London’s most storied neighbourhood, Soho. Nestled within the vibrant hotel is the wonderful Dear Jackie, a restaurant that unapologetically emanates Soho flair with Italian flavours.
The Elephant is the Room
The dazzling, eccentric, and dapper elephants that hover above the hotel’s entrance set the tone for the maximalist aesthetics that resonate throughout Broadwick. It is fitting that the hotel’s mascot is the majestic yet gargantuan elephant, encapsulating the nature and feel of the larger-than-life Soho neighbourhood. Enticingly flamboyant, Broadwick Soho’s townhouse aesthetic was created by world-renowned interior designer Martin Brudnizki, of The Dorchester, The Beekman and Scott’s Restaurant fame.
Artfully infusing a range of inspirations, from Jazz Age opulence to travels around Italy, with a dash of English eccentricity and a sprinkling of Disco fabulousness, Broadwick Soho is a feast for the senses that blends glamour and comfort in equal measure. Built to be a love letter to the space, its people, and smart places to stay, the feel of the hotel and its restaurants rejuvenates the essence of the neighbourhood back into guests. Hotel owner Noel Hayden has truly created a space that invites all guests to tune into the frenetic and vibrant rhythms of the Soho space.
Soulful In Soho
Perched on the corner of Broadwick Street and Berwick Street, Broadwick Soho rests perfectly within its unbeatable and iconic location. Since Georgian times these streets have been a magnet for artists, poets, dreamers, and disruptors, and Broadwick Soho channels and cherishes the cosmopolitan, Bohemian, and fun-loving soul of its location. Soho, with its 90 intricate and colourful streets packed into one square mile, has been the heartbeat of the city for centuries and is a brand name in itself. Soho has character, soul, and history. Broadwick Soho stands tall in the heart of the neighbourhood, and draws inspiration from the community, essence, and spirit of its surroundings.

An Atmosphere of Artistry

The restaurant possesses seductive Murano lighting, red silk walls, and plush booths giving a sense of discreet intimacy and an atmosphere that is part Dolce Vita elegance, part Disco glamour.
The red silk walls are also lined with exquisite decorative plates, handcrafted by Kent-based British painter and ceramicist Michaela Gall. These decorative plates not only elevate the restaurant’s cosy and vibrant atmosphere but maintain the artistic essence of the neighbourhood, affirming Broadwick Soho’s authenticity to the historic space. Open for dinner, the menu reflects modern Italian gastronomy – featuring exceptional pasta dishes and reimagined Italian classics, as well as an extensive list of exquisite wines.
Soho to Sicily
A little piece of Sicily resides in Soho through Dear Jackie’s Italian flavours and gastronomy. Important facets and signatures of the flavour profile are all accounted for at Dear Jackie, ensuring guests have a real journey into the breadth of Italian cuisine. Orchestrating the cuisine is Head Chef Harry Faddy, previously Head Chef at Aquavit London, presenting dinner menu signatures such as Cobble Lane, London Cured Pork Collar, and Fennel Salami. Signature pasta also shines on the menu such as Sheep’s Milk Ricotta Mezzaluna, Sicilian Lemon, Marjoram, and other delectable pasta delights. Of course, each of these signature dishes can be paired with an array of starters and sides, such as Seabass Crudo, Fennel, Navelina Orange or Bitter Leaves, Crema Insalata. Of course, no meal is ever finished without ending off with a sweet treat, of which there are many offerings such as the Homemade Gelato & Sorbet Selection and Tiramisu.
The menu is focused and sounds like an Abba hit parade. A roast veal tonnato was a true homage to the classic with delicately sliced roasted veal topped with capers and crispy shallots. A Genovese agnolotti del plin with black truffle was a celebration of Piedmont. Often reserved for special occasions, this iconic three meat stuffed pasta came swimming in the lushest creamiest parmesan sauce atop with black truffle. A main of Hereford beef fillet came with black garlic and the cutest pink radicchio. A simple plate of deliciousness.

Settle on the Cellar
A plentiful offering of various wines and champagnes is also on the Dear Jackie menu, sparing no effort to ensure the best drink pairings are available for guests’ meals. Prominent drink choices include house cocktails such as Sgroppino, made up of Capovilla Pesche Eau-de-Vie, Blood Orange Sorbet, Prosecco and La Mela, consisting of Somerset Cider 10-Year-Old Brandy, Cider, Apple, Tonic.
Other luxurious offerings come in the form of champagne such as a 2011 Taittinger – ‘Comtes De Champagne’ Blanc De Blanc Champagne, with hints of Rich lemon, ripe apple, pineapple, and yellow plum.

Embracing the creative and inspired energy of Soho, Bar Jackie is the little sister of Dear Jackie and is available to comfortably walk in and enjoy a refreshment with light eats. Located at the ground floor entrance, Bar Jackie is available for whenever guests wish to be a bit more relaxed and embrace the openness of the surrounding Soho neighbourhood.
