Arriving at Champneys Spa in Tring was something that was welcomed with open arms. Rolling up into the enchanting and decadent driveway, everyone was captivated already by what was to come. Entering with warm smells of lavender and sage, this is when Eresos was first introduced.
Jon-Paul Doran, the founder and director of the new skincare and wellness brand that offers you to experience magic whenever you use their CBD infused products. Doran, a Zimbabwe born businessman, has made a name for himself, setting up this luxuriate wellness brand which aims to focus on three areas: Skincare, pre and post sports relief and holistic wellbeing.
Greeted with a choice of three smoothies, each of them were targeting the same three groups: skincare, pre and post sports relief and holistic wellbeing. Even from the drink, I felt as if I had been whisked away to a Mediterranean spa with the subtle smells of the creams and oils on offer to try.
But Doran’s experience with CBD began when he wanted to use the medicinal benefits of cannabis cultivation to ease and help the ailments of his family. Starting off with how the CBD botanical oils had made life bearable for family members with arthritis or how the eucalyptus sleep mist helped his niece to have an undisturbed and beautiful night sleep which she struggles to have previously because of her asthma.
The former prisons minister and co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Drug Policy Reform, Crispin Blunt MP greeted us as his aim to help people benefit from the ‘remarkable’ abilities that CBD can have on people. The horrific numbers of people ending up in prisons due to the ‘outdated’ drug policy set for this county is down to in Blunt’s eyes the drug policy. He has joined Eresos to help the brand in their legal aspect as the regulations for CBD use is almost like the standards were set by guards at Guantanamo Bay. From this Blunt is with the brand to make sure the area of CBD is not affected by the harsh drug policy, or the attitude people have towards THC which there is no trace in any of their products. He like Doran hope people who use it for relief can carry on benefiting from the desirable products.
Eresos’ birthplace is on a small Grecian Island, Lesbos and is a quaint village that is “a sanctuary of natural beauty, flora, fauna and tranquillity” and was where the supposed father of botany, Theophrastus came from. From this Eresos was born and with inspiration from the seductive and beguiling Mediterranean islands, the brand uses Theophrastus’ thinking as blends the natural botanical knowledge with modern innovations of science to ensure that anyone can enhanced their health and well-being, to be the person they want to be.
As a way to introduce the products, delectable hand massages were given out to everyone, using either the Eresos CBD body cream or the hand and body oil. Choosing the cream, my fingers and palms were receiving the much-needed nutriment after the months of constant antibacterial gel application. Each dry spot on my had was refreshed with the CBD benefits that can help against anti-inflammatory properties which cause problems like eczema and dermatitis. My sensitive hands irritate a lot with many products that aim to provide extra care for dry and sensitive skin. However, this worked wonders and comforted my skin and acted like a silk sheet of utopia purely for my hands. Utter bliss.
The botanical formulas and the combination of CBD create a harmonious remedy to the chemical fuelled products, that are mass created with synthetic ingredients and a complex and often confusing benefits that aim to protect or cure from several that are all unconnected.
