Location
The city of Split is a great city to discover old and new. The old city centre that developed around the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian has been preserved, and is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Today, you can revel in music/film festivals, walk around Marjan Hill and swim at the well-known sandy beach Bačvice.

There are 27 rooms in total (26 rooms and the penthouse), all of which are south-facing, have private balconies and uninterrupted views of the sea and islands. This is one of very few hotels in Split which have their own jacuzzi on the terrace. The jewel in the crown is the Royal Penthouse, on the top of the hotel (5th floor), with magnificent, panoramic 360 degree views. The infinity pool in the Royal Penthouse even has the ability to allow you to swim against smooth current which is really special as you are looking at the sea views whilst swimming in your private pool. Restaurant and Bars
There are two bars for all seasons. The outdoor bar next to the pool offers a large range of drinks and cocktails ideal for relaxing throughout the day and for evening get-togethers, the hotel’s indoor bar is a great place to start the evening before dinner. Breakfast can be taken in your room or there is a full buffet in the restaurant with a huge choice of local and familiar breakfast options.

The beaches
The sea is warm enough for swimming from July to September and while Split is on the coast, much of the waterfront is devoted to the port. There are beaches in the area, but you need to go a bit further outside the centre. As well as beautiful Bavice, Kastelet is about a 20-minute walk from the city. Kasjuni is another great beach located at the base of Marjan Hill, with one of the best views from the water.
The gastro and wine scene
Split is great place for Croatia’s gastronomy scene. Today, the city houses dozens of restaurants that showcase Croatia’s finest food.
