The Jones Family Affair will be hosting a dinner with Australian whisky, Starward Whisky at their latest restaurant, The Jones Family Affair in Covent Garden, sister to The Jones Family Kitchen in Belgravia.
This independently owned, modern steak restaurant and cocktail bar is very cool. Interiors are a passion of owners Duncan and Anna, who have a wonderfully eye-catching style with a love of florals and colour, shown in some of the stunning House of Hackney and Timorous Beasties upholstered pieces of furniture and on the walls. The art is another focal point with a very desirable, eclectic collection adorning the walls and ceiling. The art will change from time to time, to showcase young up-coming artists along with new pieces
The hosted dinner on 13 April 2022 at 630pm will showcase four of Starward’s fantastic whiskies matched to some indulgent dishes by The Jones Family Affair. The dinner will be hosted by a brand ambassador from Starward so expect some expert guidance throughout. As Starward whiskies are finished in red wine barrels, each course will be matched not only to one of their superb whiskies but also to the wine that expresses its finish.
Melbourne’s own David Vitale was inspired to create a spirit that reflected his hometown’s famed ‘four seasons in a day’ temperature swings and captured the production values and craft of a city surrounded by some of Australia’s leading wine regions, regarded as the microbrewing capital of Australia.
There will be a welcome drink on arrival showcasing the Starward Left Field. It’s a bit different hence the name Left Field.
