Day of the Dead is fast becoming a calendar fixture and the famous Mexican celebration of lives lived calls for cocktails made with 100% agave, authentic Mexican tequila. We have some glamorous, exotic seasonal cocktail recipes to put you in the right spirit with KAH Tequila.
Prepare for Day of the Dead
Day of the Dead – or Día de los Muertos – is a joyful holiday which has been celebrated for some three thousand years. Whilst it is called ‘Day’ of the Dead, this is in fact celebrated over two days – on 1st and 2nd November. The customs are based on the belief that the departed are not remembered with mourning and sadness, and therefore the lives they lived should be celebrated with the foods, drinks, and activities they enjoyed while still alive.
Why KAH Tequila
KAH Tequila Blanco is the obvious choice for these occasions, as the liquid is exceptional, and the bottle is fittingly decorated with a skull. These bottles are stocked exclusively by Tesco and available in over 500 stores nationwide (at around £36.50 for a 70cl bottle).
The glamorous KAH bottles truly embrace the spirit of the event. KAH Tequila (40% ABV) is a superb, super-premium tequila. The liquid is beautifully smooth. KAH (meaning ‘life’ in the ancient Mayan language) is hand-crafted in Tequila, the town in Mexico which gives its name to this category of fine drinks.
