Super Bowl LXI is shaping up to be unlike anything the NFL has staged before. On February 14, 2027 — Valentine’s Day — SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, will host football’s biggest game for the second time in five years. This luxury guide covers how to fly in on a private jet, charter a yacht in Marina del Rey, land a field-level suite, and navigate every elite experience worth knowing about before the first coin toss of the week.

Super Bowl LXI at a Glance — The Historic Stage

The NFL locked in SoFi Stadium on December 13, 2023, at the NFL Winter League Meeting in Dallas. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM Eastern / 3:30 PM Pacific on February 14, 2027 — the first Super Bowl ever played on Valentine’s Day and Presidents’ Day weekend. This will be the ninth time Greater Los Angeles hosts the championship, marking 60 years since Super Bowl I was played at the LA Memorial Coliseum in 1967. The game broadcasts simultaneously on ESPN and ABC — ESPN’s first-ever live Super Bowl and ABC’s first since Super Bowl XL in 2006 — with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman calling their seventh Super Bowl together. Peyton and Eli Manning will host the ManningCast on ESPN2. The Seattle Seahawks enter as defending champions after a dominant 29–13 win over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium on February 8, 2026. DraftKings lists Seattle as Super Bowl LXI favourites at +950. Commissioner Roger Goodell called the 2022 LA game “a testament to the tremendous experience Los Angeles delivered” and expects 2027 to be even more memorable.

SoFi Stadium — The Venue Worth Knowing Inside Out

Opened in September 2020, SoFi Stadium seats 70,240 fans for standard NFL games, expandable to over 100,000 for major events. Its translucent ETFE canopy is made up of 302 panels — 46 of which open for ventilation — and features 27,000 embedded LED pucks visible from aeroplanes on approach to LAX. The venue offers over 260 luxury suites and more than 13,000 premium seats, with sideline seats closer to the field than any other NFL stadium. Its “Infinity Screen” is the largest video board in professional sports. SoFi Stadium is part of Hollywood Park, a nearly 300-acre entertainment campus owned and operated by the Los Angeles Rams chairman E. Stanley Kroenke. The stadium previously hosted six FIFA World Cup 2026 matches and will serve as the site of the 2028 Olympic Opening Ceremonies and the largest Olympic swimming pool venue in history.

The Private Jet Experience — Flying Into Super Bowl Week in Style

Private jet bookings surge 800 to 1,000 percent around Super Bowl weekend. For Super Bowl LXI, Van Nuys Airport (VNY) — the world’s busiest general aviation airport, handling over 230,000 annual takeoffs and landings — is the top arrival hub, located 15 miles north of downtown with FBOs including Clay Lacy Aviation, Signature Flight Support, and Jet Aviation. Airport event fees at major hubs during the Super Bowl can exceed $7,000 per aircraft. Charter pricing varies by route: the “Casino Run” from Las Vegas to Van Nuys in a light jet runs $6,000 to $8,000; the transcontinental New York Teterboro to Van Nuys route in a Super Midsize or Heavy Jet runs $32,000 to $45,000. Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR), 12 miles north of downtown, works well for guests near Beverly Hills. John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County — 35 miles south of LA — suits guests combining the Super Bowl with a Newport Beach yacht charter. Book three to six months out minimum: demand during event week consistently drives pricing well above standard market rates.

Yacht Charters — The Waterfront Side of Super Bowl Week

Marina del Rey sits just a 20-minute drive from SoFi Stadium and is Southern California’s premier yacht charter hub. FantaSea Yachts, operating since 1980 with over 10,000 events hosted, runs three vessels out of the marina: the Dandeana (up to 100 guests, modern design with rooftop deck), the FantaSea One (up to 250 guests across four levels, including a Sky Deck, dance floor, and marble bar), and the Admiral XL (intimate luxury for up to 12 guests). From Marina del Rey, guests are within easy cruising distance of Catalina Island, the Channel Islands National Park, and Newport Beach Harbour — the largest recreational harbour on the West Coast. A charter yacht during Super Bowl week solves the hotel pricing surge problem entirely while doubling as a private event venue for client entertainment, pre-game cruises, and overnight accommodations. Newport Beach is an equally strong departure point for ocean-facing anchorages. Charter companies in both harbours begin filling Super Bowl week slots six to twelve months ahead.

Platinum Passes and Suite Prices — The Access Hierarchy

On Location, the NFL’s official hospitality partner, is the only authorised source for verified Super Bowl LXI ticket packages. Their tiered experiences — modelled on Super Bowl LX’s “On The Fifty,” Playmakers’ Club, and Touchdown Club options — include premium seating, high-end food and beverage, exclusive entertainment, and post-game on-field access. Super Bowl LXI suites at SoFi Stadium range from $700,000 to $1,500,000, with Google Cloud Executive Suites at midfield commanding top-of-market prices. For context: a 24-person suite at Super Bowl LVI at SoFi ran $907,000. Allegiant Stadium’s priciest suite at Super Bowl LVIII hit $3 million. In 2022, SoFi’s largest suite sold for $2.2 million. Front-row seats at the 50-yard line during Super Bowl LVI went for $62,095 each. The average resale ticket price for Super Bowl LVI was approximately $8,500, and prices in the final eight days before the game have risen an average of 28 percent over the last five seasons. Fantasy football auction values for the top players projected to appear in Super Bowl LXI have been among the season’s most scrutinised figures, directly reflecting the elite calibre of talent that will take the field at SoFi Stadium on February 14.

The Players Tailgate and Super Bowl Week Events

The Players Tailgate by Bullseye Event Group is consistently recognised as the top pre-game Super Bowl party. For Super Bowl LXI, over 50 active NFL players join A-list celebrities and VIP guests steps from SoFi Stadium. Hosted by Nate Burleson with a live set by DJ Irie, the event features unlimited gourmet food by award-winning celebrity chefs and open premium bars. Every Bullseye travel package includes Players Tailgate access — a stated $1,000-per-ticket savings. Full Bullseye packages include official game tickets, a four-night luxury hotel stay, tailgate access, and round-trip game-day transportation. Official Super Bowl week programming also includes NFL Honours, Super Bowl Opening Night, and the Super Bowl Experience presented by Jersey Mike’s — which features photo opportunities with the Vince Lombardi Trophy and interactive fan activities. The LA Super Bowl Host Committee, led by LASEC president Kathryn Schloessman, is coordinating the week’s full event calendar across the region.

Luxury Hotels — Where the Elite Stay During Super Bowl LXI

Beverly Hills and West Hollywood are the prime accommodation corridors for Super Bowl LXI guests. On Location’s partner properties include the London Hotel in West Hollywood, an all-suite property with California-contemporary design. Bullseye packages the Kimpton Everly Hollywood Hotel — a boutique property at the base of the Hollywood Hills with skyline views and a rooftop sundeck — and the Hyatt Dream Hollywood, a Rockwell Group-designed midcentury modern hotel with a rooftop pool and Hollywood Sign views. Hotel rooms during Super Bowl week book out months in advance at peak-event pricing. Priority Access deposits through On Location have historically sold out before any public availability. The recommendation from every luxury package provider is the same: secure your hotel when you secure your tickets, not after.

Ground Transportation — Moving Through LA During the Big Week

Los Angeles traffic is legendary even on quiet days. During Super Bowl LXI week, the city’s road network will be under extraordinary pressure with 100,000-plus people converging on Inglewood. For guests operating at the suite and yacht level, rideshare apps are not the plan — surge pricing on Super Bowl Sunday regularly hits 5x to 10x standard rates. Helicopter transfers from Van Nuys Airport or Santa Monica Airport to a landing zone near Inglewood cut ground travel entirely. Dedicated chauffeur-driven armoured SUVs and Sprinter vans with pre-planned routes are the standard for luxury package guests. Multiple premium operators offer airport Meet and Greet services with private ground transfers to hotel properties. LA Metro’s K Line does reach the Hollywood Park area and serves as a backup, but premium transportation secured in advance is the only way to guarantee your Super Bowl Sunday timeline runs on schedule.

The Super Bowl LXI Legacy — 60 Years of LA Football

Super Bowl LXI arrives exactly 60 years after Super Bowl I was played at the LA Memorial Coliseum on January 15, 1967, when average ticket prices ran $12 — roughly $110 in today’s dollars. Los Angeles has hosted the championship at four venues across those six decades: the Coliseum (twice), the Rose Bowl in Pasadena (five times), and now SoFi Stadium (twice). Only New Orleans and Miami, each with 11 Super Bowls, have hosted more. Super Bowl LVI in 2022 generated over $477 million in economic impact for the Los Angeles region, and the 2027 Host Committee is building directly on that foundation with LASEC’s Business Connect program, connecting local diverse-owned businesses to contracting opportunities. The New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers share the all-time record with six Super Bowl victories each. For anyone serious about attending Super Bowl LXI in the right way — private jet in, yacht on the water, suite at the 50 — the convergence of this venue, this city, and this Valentine’s Day date makes February 2027 the most compelling luxury sports event on the calendar.
