Silversea brings a new take on luxury cruising with Silver Nova, containing the largest array of bars, restaurants, and lounges to date in the Silversea family. She will take her maiden voyage in August 2023, sailing to destinations all over the world.
Silver Nova will be the first ship in the Silversea fleet where EVERY cabin will have a balcony. Silver Nova’s unique asymmetrical design heightens the spaciousness between the various parts of the ship and will create an immersive experience. Designed to cater to every itinerary, the ship accommodates 728 guests with 10 bars and lounges, eight restaurants, and an array of things to do.

So where is Silver Nova sailing?
Silver Nova will begin her voyage with a summer Mediterranean tour of the Iberian Peninsula, Casablanca, and Tangier. She will then sail the Caribbean and Central America with stops at Benquia, Gustavia, Cartagena, Panama City and more. Winter 2023 will provide a warm escape to South America with stops in Peru, Ecuador, and Panama with 2024 plans to explore the Atacama Desert and the amazing Chilean Fjords. Summer 2024 will host an Alaskan cruise of the Inside Passage and Hubbard Glacier, with opportunities to witness native whales, dolphins, and sea lions. In 2024 and 2025, explore Asia with overnight stays in Ho Chi Min City, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Silver Nova will also sail down under for a tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Sustainability aboard Silver Nova – not just a buzz word
Silver Nova will be one of the most environmentally conscious vessels in the Silversea collection. Equipped with a novel hybrid energy source, the ship will use fuel cells, batteries, and dual-fuel engines that use liquefied natural gas. This large-scale power source allows the ship to be free of local emissions while at the port, the first ship to do this in the cruise industry.
With Silver Nova, Silversea are introducing a new way of looking at sailing, at the environment, at the ocean itself. Every suite enjoys floor-to-ceiling windows with a private glass balcony. The ship will have 364 suites across 13 categories. Silver Nova offers the most suite options in Silversea history, including a new premium suite selection on the ship’s aft. Each suite features benefits like champagne upon arrival, butler service, plush bathrobes and slippers, along with extensive bathroom amenities.

Each suite category comes as a one-bedroom, such as the Otium, Signature, Medallion, Premium Medallion, and all levels of the Veranda Suites. For something more lavish, the Owner’s, Grand, Master, Silver, and Junior Grand suites are available in two-bedroom formats with separate living room and dining room configurations by adjoining with Veranda suites.
Things to do
Silver Nova’s horizontal layout provides smooth movement between decks and public spaces. The three-floor atrium leads to a casino and boutique shop. The Dusk Bar is an open-sky bar on the top deck, providing 270-degree panoramic views of Silver Nova’s seascapes. Two separate pool decks offer the largest pool offering in the Silversea line and an infinity pool with a bar.
Silver Nova also offers a range of lounges for relaxation and drinks. The Dolce Vita Lounge is a leisure spot known as the heart of the ship. The Venetian Lounge is a two-floor venue offering live theatrical and musical performances, film screenings, lectures, and seminars. The evening-only bar is called The Shelter, a sophisticated and intimate spot for pre or post-dinner drinks. The Connisseur’s Corner is a cigar lounge equipped with comfortable Chesterfield armchairs. The Observation Lounge offers a vantage point for panoramic views of the sea and contains a library, where you can relax amidst the views. The Panorama Lounge offers a day-to-night experience, transforming into a lively bar once the sun sets.
S.A.L.T. Bar and S.A.L.T. Lab offer regionally inspired drinks and dishes. The Bar is a romantically lit and elegant evening space for unique cocktails and drinks, while the bright daytime Lab provides culinary demonstrations and more.
No luxury experience is complete without a spa. Silver Nova’s Otium Spa is optimal for tranquil relaxation and self-care, complete with an indoor pool, eight treatment rooms, a fitness centre, and a beauty salon. The ancient Roman-style thermal area has a steam room, sauna, pool, and travertine water fountain.

Choose from eight distinct restaurants while aboard Silver Nova, providing spacious and intimate dining venues. The restaurants include:
La Terrazza – The largest restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring a large buffet during the day and an a la carte menu for dinner.
Atlantide – The large space and sophisticated décor is an elegant bar and grill incorporates local and international gastronomic options.
Silver Note – This after-dinner venue features a central stage with a piano, great for winding down with a cocktail and some live music.
S.A.L.T. Kitchen – True to its concept, this restaurant will offer a menu inspired by each destination from their Terrain menu, which adapts according to the port.
La Dame – This signature French restaurant has opulent interiors. Guests will be greeted with a Hirondelles crystal chandelier and creative lighting design dispersed throughout the ceiling.
Kaiseki – This popular Japanese restaurant has a minimalist design and offers an a la carte menu featuring Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Korean, and Chinese cuisine.
The Marquee – This al fresco dining concept is close to the swimming pool, serving casual fare by day and dinner under the stars at night.
The Grill and Spaccanapoli – Adjoined to The Marquee, this venue serves the cruise line’s trademark ‘hot rocks’ culinary concept and their best-selling pizzas.
