Brunch: Like breakfast, but better. Harrods is introducing an innovative new brunch – Studio Sundays at Studio Frantzen, a luxurious and contemporary top-floor restaurant and rooftop terrace at the Knightsbridge store.

Ever since Studio Frantzen opened in November 2022, internationally celebrated Swedish chef Björn Frantzén and his team have delivered distinctive gastronomic Nordic-meets-Asia food and drinks. Dishes became legend including the grilled oysters smoked with butter sauce, herring caviar & seaweed oil and the legendary warm laminated milk bread à la croissant with the most wonderful blond miso butter & borage honey. This is easily one of the best bread courses in London.
The new brunch complements the existing à la carte and set menu offerings, while adding a flavourful range of casual day-time dishes. Studio Sundays features classic brunch elements elevated by Frantzén’s culinary flair for mixing different taste influences, creating a very relaxed approach to dining out.

This uniquely leisurely Sunday dining experience can be enjoyed in the restaurant itself, or on the terrace, where panoramic views across the rooftops of Knightsbridge and beyond will provide a picturesque backdrop to your meal. The roof covering can be pulled back, and the comfy environs mix lounge-style sofas with regular table seating.
Studio Sundays will run from 11.30am until 7pm (last booking 6pm), making an all-day brunch-style outing the perfect complement to shopping or hanging out with a rather luxuriate Sunday brunch. DJ and live sax performances will add to the relaxed, sociable atmosphere throughout the day.

Typical dishes on the new Studio Sunday brunch menu include:
- Toasted furikake bagel, smoked salmon, yuzu butter, cream cheese & avocado
- Fried chicken katsu sando, crispy cabbage, kimchi mayo, green chili
- Lobster roll, brioche, mayonnaise, trout roe, celery & dill
- Stracciatella di Bufala, soy beans, broccolini, lime, ginger, vinaigrette & pine nuts
- Buttermilk pancakes, plum compote, shiso & vanilla ice cream
- Roasted cauliflower & truffle hazelnuts, Parmesan & galangal vinaigrette
- Truffle scrambled eggs, brioche with champinjons
The menu features a selection of ‘Snacks & Bites’, including Oysters – whether grilled with smoked butter and herring caviar, or ‘Swedish’ with kohlrabi broth, wasabi and ikura, and ‘Raw & Salads – including Tartare of tuna & red deer, and the impressive table-side Studio Frantzen Caesar salad (with guinea fowl, miso-togarashi, pine nuts and pork belly). The ‘From the Fireplace’ section showcases the Umami beef burger with truffle aïoli, Emmenthal & shiitake; Marinated baby chicken with miso beurre blanc; Fillet of sea bass with yuzu barigoule; and the Portobello mushroom & tofu burger.

Desserts complete the Sunday temptation, with Lime tart, umeshu & whipped cream; Strawberry waffles with salted milk ice cream; Yuzu sorbet with fennel, pomelo & sansho-pepper meringue – plus the most delicious freshly baked Madeleines with beurre noisette & Kyoto miso.
Complete the day-time weekend vibe with a range of brunch cocktails by Tomas Kracalik and the team – including a Jasmine 75 (Stockholms Bränneri akavit, Muyu Jasmine Verte, elderflower, citrus & sparkling wine); Mandarin & Yuzu Mimosa (with ginger & sparkling wine); Strawberry Mule (Aperol, Choya Umeshu, strawberry citrus & lemonade); and the Studio Frantzen Mary (OP Anderson akavit, spice mix, yuzu, lobster bisque & yellow tomato.)
On the seventh day, we brunch.
