Sustainability
The Fine Bedding Company have a vision for a sustainable future and this runs through the heart of the business with four pillars:
Sustainable Products: Microfiber duvet fillings use 25% less polyester than similar competitor products. Last year 38% of polyester used in the manufactured products came from recycled products and the majority of cotton is sourced through Better Cotton Initiative sources.
Responsible sourcing: Suppliers are selected carefully with high priority placed on fair working conditions with all key suppliers undergoing audits.
Operations: The aim is to reduce the environmental foot print of operations. Duvets have a 19% lower carbon footprint than the industry standard and 90% of waste is recycled.
Community: The positive impact on the local community and economy in Estonia was recognised with the West-Viru county Silver Medal Award and work continues to support local communities.
