The world’s first super-premium aquavit has partnered with some of London’s best restaurants and bars to give Londoners an authentic and fun taste of the Midsummer celebrations.
From Wednesday 22 June, dedicated set menus, delicious cocktails, exclusive masterclasses and beautiful flower garlands will be available to Londoners for a unique one-week event in full Scandi-style. Here are the details of the luxury venues taking part.

Belgravia’s eclectic cultural destination Pantechnicon celebrates Midsummer week, offering a selection of 10 cocktail creations made with Nuet Dry Aquavit, from in-house mixologist Gento Torigata and special guest, renowned Norwegian mixologist Odd Strandbakken. The cocktails – ranging from £10 to £18 and served in Pantechnicon’s gorgeous Roof Garden – will be paired with five gourmet small dishes. You can also create your own traditional flower garlands, rewarded with complimentary ice-cold shots of Nuet Dry Aquavit, toasting with the iconic saying “lev i Nuet”, meaning ‘live in the moment’.
In addition, on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th June, there will be exclusive masterclasses with limited spots to learn how to make the most of Nuet Dry Aquavit’s unique flavour with grapefruit peel and blackcurrant influences. All participants will receive a goodie bag filled with Nuet Dry Aquavit products, along with special discounts towards the purchase on location of Nuet Dry Aquavit and The Moments Toddy, a brand-new liqueur launching in the UK this Autumn.
BAR 45 AT 45 PARK LANE

BAR 45 at 45 Park Lane hotel has joined Nuet Dry Aquavit in celebrating Midsummer with a new cocktail creation, The Bellevue. Inspired by Scandinavian Midsummer, the cocktail takes its name from the highest viewpoint of Norway’s Beech Tree Forest. Created by brilliant bar manager Tomas Kracalik, the shaken cocktail is a crisp and refreshing mix of Nuet Dry Aquavit, pear infused vodka and French absinthe.
The cocktail can be accompanied by BAR 45’s Rough CUT’s menu, including Spicy Tuna Tartare Cones with Sesame-Miso Tuile; Cornish Salted Caviar with Sour Cream and Savoury Doughnuts; and Baron Bigod & Black Truffle Arancini. BAR 45 was launched in September 2011 to accompany Wolfgang Puck’s modern American steak restaurant, CUT at 45 Park Lane. Since then, BAR 45 has offered a sophisticated and lively atmosphere and has become renowned for its world class cocktail offering.

To celebrate Midsummer, the stylish Aquavit London, in the heart of St James’s Market, has created a special menu with Nuet Dry Aquavit, available Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June. Priced at £64 per person and accompanied by an ice-cold shot of Nuet Dry Aquavit, the three-course menu includes a variety of Nordic delicacies such as Pickled Herrings, Västerbotten Cheese Tarts and New Potatoes; Nuet-cured Gravadlax with Dill & Mustard Sauce and Lemon; and Swedish Meatballs with Pickled Cucumbers, Lingonberries and Potato Mash. A highlight from the dessert selection is the Swedish Marängsviss, with Strawberry Ice-cream and Chocolate Sauce.
Accompanying the menu are five delicious Nuet Dry Aquavit-based cocktails. These include The Golden Stairs cocktail, with Nuet Dry Aquavit, St‑Germain, Grapefruit Syrup and Lemon Juice; and the Artisjokk cocktail, with Nuet Dry Aquavit, Cynar and Kamm & Sons.
Guests will be able to purchase a 70cl bottle of Nuet Dry Aquavit directly at Aquavit London, receiving exclusive goodie bags filled with Nuet Dry Aquavit products.
THE ROOFTOP AT THE TRAFALGAR ST. JAMES
WHEN: Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June.
Situated in the heart of the city, The Rooftop at The Trafalgar St. James boasts breathtaking views over Trafalgar Square and London’s spectacular skyline. Nuet Dry Aquavit has partnered with The Rooftop to offer a bespoke Midsummer cocktail menu taking inspiration from Northern Europe.
In addition, to celebrate Midsummer, the rooftop bar will serve three limited edition cocktails exclusively from Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25th June, along with a selection of Scandinavian delicacies.
Also joining the Midsummer celebrations is 10° Sky Bar, with a themed cocktail menu and flower garlands making from 23rd to 25th June. A special is scheduled for Sunday 26th June.
Ekte, the Nordic restaurant in Banks’ Bloomberg Arcade, will launch an exclusive Midsummer cocktail available on 24th and 25th June, with guests receiving a complimentary shot of Nuet Dry Aquavit and the opportunity to make their own flower garlands.
