Nothing says Christmas quite like a festive feast and this winter, The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge, the seasonal British restaurant located in Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, will be serving up an array of sensational, seasonal menus and spreads and a festive afternoon tea that incorporates both tradition and innovation.
Festive Afternoon Tea
From 18th November between 2-5pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, treat yourself to a Festive Afternoon Tea with an indulgent assortment of Christmas-themed pastries and confections including seasonal sweets, savouries and freshly baked scones, all lovingly prepared by The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge’s expert pastry chefs.
Priced at £55 per person with soft beverages, £70 per person with a glass of Pommery Rosé Brut or £95 per person with two hours of free-flowing bubbles, The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge’s Festive Afternoon Tea Menu will invite guests to enjoy a selection of savoury bites, finger sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.
Expect to indulge in the likes of a Mini Lobster Roll with Marie Rose, chive and avocado as well as a Spiced Pumpkin Pithivier with pecan, and an array of sandwiches including Turkey Breast with cranberry chutney and spiced chestnuts, cucumber with sour cream and confit lemon and Beef Brisket with gherkin and coleslaw.
In true British style, the Festive Afternoon Tea will feature a choice of scones including Cranberry and Cinnamon Scones and Plain Scones, both of which can be paired with orange curd; strawberry jam and clotted cream and special Christmas sweet treats such as Santa’s Belt made of Christmas pudding and coconut marshmallow; a Rice Profiterole Reindeer made with rice pudding, cranberry compote and choux; a Snowflake Roll and a ‘Christmas Present’ brandy chocolate cake.

Available to book for both lunch and dinner from the 18 November 2023 to 5th January 2024, The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge will be launching its delectable Festive Set Menu with three courses for just £60 per person.

Countdown to the big day with a dining experience like no other. The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge’s unmissable four-course Christmas Eve Dinner is complemented by live entertainment from the Natalie May Singer-Guitarist Duo.
The four-course menu will include:
- Fresh Rosemary and Potato Sourdough with whipped butter and winter dip
- Seared Hand-Dived Scallop with tapioca and spring onion to start

Offering a magical celebration of flavours, festivities, and live entertainment from the Acoustic Duo, there’s no better place to spend Christmas Day than The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge, where the restaurant’s talented chefs will be putting on a lavish spread that pays homage to traditional festive classics.
Available between 12:30pm and 4:00pm on the 25 December (last seating 2:00pm), The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge’s exquisite Christmas Day Brunch will feature a buffet-style feast, with each dish promising to capture the essence of Christmas. The offering includes:

New Years Eve
Countdown to 2024 in style with a night of sophistication and celebration at The Montagu Kitchen & Lounge, featuring a sensational four-course menu and live entertainment from Natalie May Singer-Guitarist Duo. Available to enjoy between 7:00pm and midnight (with the last seating at 9:30pm), this exquisite offering is priced at just £95 per person with soft beverages, £110 per person with a glass of champagne on arrival, or £135 per person with wine pairings.
Guests will receive a selection of canapés on arrival including Poppy Seeds and Goat Cheese; Pesto and Mature Cheddar Madeleines; Roast Beef on Mini Yorkshire Puddings and Duck Domes with Orange Confit. To start, diners can choose from a Red Onion Tarte Tatin with goat cheese and bitter leaves salad or a Scottish Game, pistachio and cranberry Ballantine, with baby beetroot, radish and frisée.

The Marylebone Project and COSMIC
With a steadfast commitment to Hyatt’s World of Care pillar of Caring for People, Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill is delighted to announce that, for the second time this festive season, it will be embarking on a heartfelt initiative with two remarkable, local charities.
The hotel is honoured to once again be collaborating with The Marylebone Project, an organisation that is dedicated to transforming the lives of homeless women and that has been making a profound impact in the Marylebone neighbourhood. The hotel will be donating 100 festive meals, extending warmth and nourishment to homeless women in the community.
As well as this, Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill will also be partnering with COSMIC, a charity that supports babies and children in intensive care in the children’s ward at St Mary’s Hospital. The collaboration aims to both raise awareness and raise money for COSMIC and will kickstart on Saturday 25 November, when the hotel will hold a fundraising book-reading event in The Gallery from 11am to 1pm.
The hotel will also be encouraging both staff and guests to donate via QR codes and fundraising links on televisions in the hotel’s guestrooms and public areas. All money raised will be used to purchase copies of the renowned children’s storybook, Guess How Much I Love You, which is included in the welcome pack given to all families entering the ward.
