Brace yourself: with The Devil Wears Prada back on our screens and continuing its sold-out reign on the West End stage, The Coral Room is meeting the moment with a new line-up of cocktails and light bites designed for both pre and post-theatre indulgence. Following the success of its themed afternoon tea, which launched alongside the musical’s debut, this new menu is better suited to a quick curtain-raiser, a late-evening debrief or a spontaneous stop before or after a nearby cinema trip.
Located just a stone’s throw from the Dominion Theatre, The Coral Room is the spot for before or after the show. The Coral Room is not new to the bar scene but is one of London’s first-ever proper cocktail bars and it continues to evolve and grow under the leadership of Gio Spezziga and the team.
A Cultural Moment Worth Celebrating
It’s hard to think of another title that has defined a generation of fashion-watching quite like The Devil Wears Prada. After two decades of being endlessly quoted, GIF-ed and rewatched, the franchise has come roaring back in a paired cultural moment. The long-awaited sequel, The Devil Wears Prada 2, premiered in New York on 20 April 2026 and was released in cinemas on 1 May by 20th Century Studios, reuniting Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci under the direction of original filmmaker David Frankel. The story picks up twenty years on, with Andy returning to Runway, this time as features editor, to help steer the magazine through scandal and a shifting media landscape. There is even an original song titled “Runway” performed by Lady Gaga and Doechii to mark the occasion.
Meanwhile, the West End musical adaptation continues to draw fashion fans and theatre-lovers in equal measure just steps from The Coral Room at the Dominion Theatre. Featuring an original score by Elton John and starring Vanessa Williams as Miranda Priestly, the production has consistently smashed sales records since opening at the Dominion in October 2024, becoming the fastest-selling show in the theatre’s history, with Vanessa Williams now extending her reign as Miranda until 17 October 2026. In short, there has never been a better time to live out your Runway fantasy.

A Glamorous Bloomsbury Setting
Tucked inside The Bloomsbury Hotel and just steps away from The Dominion Theatre, The Coral Room is an idyllic spot to sip something glamorous before the lights go down, or to linger a little longer once the final scene has played out. The room’s signature coral-pink walls, polished brass and oversized art-deco lamps make it feel like a hidden corner of a fashion editor’s penthouse, which is to say, entirely on-theme. Cue dimmed lighting, low chatter and a soundtrack that knows exactly what it is doing.

Cocktails Fit for the Front Row
Cocktails draw on the film’s most iconic moments, blending playful nostalgia with polished execution. The Runway Royale arrives with all the confidence of a front-row moment, made with Mijenta Tequila Reposado, Galliano, Vanilla Liqueur, Nonino Botanical and Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve, finished with a single Maraschino Cherry. Cerulean, named after Miranda’s famous monologue (yes, the one about a certain lumpy blue jumper), is set to be a trendsetter just like its namesake. It is made with Silent Pool Gin, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, Butterfly Pea Tea and Mancino Vermouth Bianco, served with a tiny red stiletto bobbing on top for good measure. Inspired by the icon that is Miranda Priestly herself, the Miranda Club is slightly sharper, made with X Muse Vodka, Hedgerow Berry & Rose Shrub, Cocchi Extra Dry Vermouth, fresh Raspberries and Lemon Juice.

Bar Snacks with a Side of Style
The bar snacks menu delivers just the right amount of indulgence. Light, vibrant and made for sharing, The Run Away Red Carpet pairs roasted red pepper hummus with radish and crackers. Nate’s signature serve also makes it onto the menu as an elevated Grilled Cheese with Jarlsberg, a knowing wink to anyone who has ever fallen out with a partner over a relentless work schedule. Meanwhile, some would say the That’s All Steak Skewers, made with grilled wagyu beef and served with a chimichurri dip, is the dish of the moment.
Whether you’re heading to the theatre, catching the new film at the cinema and making a night of it, or simply in search of an elevated ‘girl dinner’, The Coral Room is the dressed-up destination where the atmosphere is as considered as the menu, and every detail feels impeccably styled. A million girls might kill for this booking, but you only need to be quick.
