Already legendary in Ibiza and Mykonos, Lío London arrived in London in the middle of Leicester Square last year, bringing its trademark all-singing, all-dancing show-dining experience to the old Café de Paris building.

What is Lio London?
Lío London is a unique fusion of theatrical dining and high-octane cabaret, set in a 1920s-themed club atmosphere. Renowned for its immersive shows, it features a diverse array of world-class performers, from dancers and actors to acrobats and erotic artists. Embracing the theme “Besos, Beats, and Beauties,” Lío offers a Mediterranean-inspired culinary experience alongside a dynamic nightlife scene, making it a standout destination in the realm of entertainment and dining.
Each season, the team creates a one-of-a-kind show – incorporating artists, acrobats, singers, and dancers – in which everyone, from those on stage to the wait staff, performs vignettes, creating an atmosphere that ensures everyone gets up to dance by the end of the show.
Celebrating the Lío Flair
This year marks an important year for the cabaret club and restaurant, as this year marks the first anniversary of being a cornerstone of nightlife in London. The celebrations are shared though, as it is also the respective venue’s, the former Café de Paris, 100th anniversary, which is surely worth a celebration to ring in a century of luxurious space. To honour both events, Lio London is stepping back in time to throw a roaring 1920s-themed party to pay homage to the rich history of Lío’s London home; a venue that has hosted legends like Frank Sinatra and Josephine Baker and Judy Garland, and continues to showcase the best cabaret and dining in the capital.

An Extravagant Outing
This season’s show brings guests into a night of sensation with Besos, Beats, and Beauties. Explores the heart of the Lío experience with a focus on the pulsating beats, beauty in all its forms, and the passion of “Besos”. Lío is sure to entertain you, with a world-class troupe of performers that will have hearts racing with a show that meanders through the sublime and surreal to the seemingly impossible.
Entertainment is seamlessly intertwined between courses with a mixture of dancing, solo numbers, duets, and more. This is a feel-good uplifting show in the heart of theatreland, paying homage to the art of performance. The best seats are up close on the main floor but there is one table that really catches the eye. A table set on its own raised on the first floor – a true Royal Box experience.

Divine Cuisine
Lío’s Mediterranean inspired à la carte menu is full of surprises, much like the show itself. The menu is a journey, offering a wide selection of mouth-watering dishes served by a vivacious team that blends seamlessly with the show.
Guided by the culinary brilliance of Former Kensington Palace Executive Chef, Attila Kalanyos, Lío offers a menu of fresh, vibrant ingredients and unique flavour combinations. The result is a dining experience that seamlessly complements the energy of the show. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are also available to ensure nobody misses out on this one-of-a-kind experience.
A vibrant menu theme accompanies the overall atmosphere of the venue, with starters from the “Treats of Hedonism” section to main courses of meaty goodness in the “Kisses of Pleasure” section.

Flavours to Savour
No anniversary is complete without the right eats, which Lío delivers on. With a revamped à la carte menu to showcase the delectableness that makes up Lío London’s divine flair, diners will surely be treated to a night of culinary sensations. Small “Nibbles” to kick the party off include Cantabrian Anchovies and Jamon Iberico Joselito, which is a firm ham that melts in the mouth to provide an invigorating and tasty sensation.
Hot and Small plate highlights include Spanish tortillas and scallops in shells, offering vibrant flavour profiles to spice up the night. Hot and large plates pack even more delights of gastronomy, with Roast Monkfish in Marmitako sauce or a dish that can’t be missed is a Wagyu tenderloin with foie gras – decadent, tender, and beautifully cooked. To round the entire menu out, the sweeter side of Spanish flavour is brought forth with a delicious Cardamom Crème Catalan, a delicious crème brûlée.

Lift Your Spirit
What is a good night out without a few refreshments, and fortunately, Lío provides a brilliant offering of cocktails and mixology. Just like its accompanying menu, drinks also hold vibrant and thematic names, such as Vanilla Kissed Bliss, which is Tanqueray No.10 with the sour notes of apple and the sweetness of vanilla, or Love Potion being Casamigos Reposado accompanied by fig and cranberry. These are merely a few of the many fun and exhilarating options Lío offers to elevate a night of fun.
To boost diners’ refinement even further, be sure to look towards Lío’s cellar, boasting a thoughtfully curated wine selection, overseen by Romain Audrerie, former Wine Director of Chiltern Firehouse. Lío offers an array of exceptional bottles designed to elevate your dining experience. With a wide range of reds, whites, rosés, and, of course, champagne, Lío London ensures there’s something to satisfy every palate and budget.
