Moorings Park Communities has shaped its reputation around a clear idea: luxury senior living can be refined, personal, future-focused, and deeply connected to well-being. Recognised by Luxury Lifestyle Awards as Best Luxury Senior Living Development in the United States, the Naples-based organisation represents a model of luxury Life Plan Community living where residences, hospitality, healthcare, and community design work together with long-term purpose.
Founded in 1977, Moorings Park Communities is a non-profit organisation headquartered in Naples, Florida. Across its three campuses, Moorings Park, Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, and Moorings Park Grande Lake, the organisation offers distinct lifestyle settings designed for residents who value choice, independence, service, and confidence in the years ahead.
A Community Model Built Around Individual Choice
The organisation’s approach to senior living is centred on personalisation. The people who move to a Moorings Park community are some of the most accomplished people in the world. Moorings Park Communities believes that just because you are getting older, you shouldn’t have to compromise. Each resident has the opportunity to personalise finishes and selections through a luxury design studio, reinforcing the idea that a residence should feel individual in character and considered in detail.
Beyond the residence, customisation continues through personalised healthcare offered through Care 360, Moorings Park Communities’ concierge physician programme, resident-focused Centers for Healthy Living, outpatient therapy tailored to individual treatment plans and schedules, and a continuum of care that can evolve with changing needs. The result is a living environment designed not only around comfort, but around continuity, personal support, and long-term confidence.
Moorings Park Grande Lake as a Flagship Expression
Moorings Park Grande Lake reflects the organisation’s luxury philosophy on a significant scale. The nation’s most upscale Life Plan Community, the 55-acre lakefront campus, brings together coastal residential design, resort-inspired amenities and services, wellness resources and healthcare services. In addition, included in their contract, residents have access to GardenView, the nation’s premier assisted living and memory support, should they ever need it.
With 245 of 284 residences completed, Moorings Park Grande Lake demonstrates a phased approach to development that balances residential quality with broader lifestyle planning. Senior living organisations from around the world visit Moorings Park Grande Lake for inspiration.
Innovation in Wellness and Support
A defining element of Moorings Park Communities is its integration of wellness, healthcare, digital connectivity, and supportive technology into the luxury living experience. Its Centers for Healthy Living were developed to bring resident-focused, physician-based wellness, prevention, fitness, and healthcare services closer to home.
Central to the Moorings Park Communities experience is TrueSpan®, the organisation’s philosophy for helping residents belong, connect, and flourish through purposeful living, wellness, lifelong engagement, and meaningful relationships. Digital tools, including the TrueSpan app, further support access to services, programmes, and community connections.
At Moorings Park Grande Lake, that approach is further expressed through GardenView, one of the nation’s first AI-integrated assisted living residences. Together, these initiatives present luxury senior living as a complete framework for independence, vitality, and thoughtful support.
Sustainability as Long-Term Responsibility
Moorings Park Communities approaches sustainability through building practices, environmental operations, and wellness-centred workplace principles. Moorings Park Grande Lake has earned the Florida Green Building Coalition “Florida Green” High-Rise Residential Building Certification, while the Waterside neighbourhood at Moorings Park has received LEED Silver certification.
The organisation has also implemented green operational practices, including high-efficiency lighting, hands-free faucets, waterless urinals, a solar thermal hot water heating system in its laundry facility, food-waste composting for gardens, and the use of recycled rubber for walking paths. Its recognition through the City of Naples Green Business Certification programme, and participation in the Blue Zones Project, further reflect a broader commitment to healthier, more sustainable environments.
A Naples Institution with Evolving Relevance
Moorings Park Communities has continued to expand the expectations of Life Plan Retirement Communities through high-level residences, amenities, services, and healthcare integration. Its portfolio includes restaurants, theatres, fitness centres, medical centres, assisted living, skilled care, and workforce housing projects.
In a sector where luxury must increasingly account for longevity, independence, and personal well-being, Moorings Park Communities consistently pushes the retirement field forward. Its recognition by Luxury Lifestyle Awards affirms its role in advancing senior living through design, service, innovation, and a clear understanding of what residents value most.
