The Dilly, London’s newest independent 5* hotel will be of the biggest Central London hotel openings of 2021 including Madhu’s, an Indian restaurant that will open as a pop up this Summer in The Dilly’s iconic Oak Room.
Location
Everyone talks about location and it is important. London’s epicentre, Piccadilly Circus is really in the heart of London for theatre, shopping, restaurants and a meeting point known throughout the world. With Mayfair, Chinatown, Hyde Park Corner and Covent Garden all within easy access, when you stay in London, you really want to be IN London so this ticks off any London staycation check list.
The Building
One of the city’s first grand hotels dating back to Edwardian times, the hotel has witnessed the comings and goings of London’s characters. In the 1930s, an outdoor pool on the terrace was centre stage for high class London shenanigans and now the hotel has one of London’s largest indoor luxury pools, part of the new Health Club at The Dilly.
Transformation of the property will include a new exterior design, refurbished rooms and an extensive lobby refresh.
Rooms
Many of the bedrooms and suites have views over either Regent Street or Piccadilly and the characterful roof tops of London’s West End. With 5 room types, comfort and connectivity are key features. The Dilly Splendid room sounds like a lot of fun with a little extra space to unwind and recharge.
Madhu’s Pop up
From 6 June 2021, Madhu’s Mayfair, a fine dining Indian restaurant and bar showcasing Punjabi cuisine with a Kenyan twist is taking over The Dilly’s Oak Room for a limited time – one of the most stunning banquet rooms in Central London.
Synonymous with quality, dedication, creativity and flare, the Madhu’s brand boasts more than 40 years in the business so prepare for secret recipes handed down over four generations. The highlight of the innovative menu are the dishes cooked on a Robata Grill.
Things to do
