Piccolino, the iconic Italian restaurant brand from Individual Restaurants, has just re-opened its doors on the popular food and drink hotspot of Heddon Street following a £1.5 million refurbishment.
Representing the ultimate dining destination for Londoners, the two-floor restaurant has undergone extensive internal and external refurbishments further to closing in April 2022, seeing a large lower ground private dining and events space created alongside an extensive 82 square meter al fresco garden lounge installed at the front of the restaurant.
The interiors at Piccolino Heddon Street are stunning and combine classic materials such as marble flooring and oak furniture coupled with contemporary Italian flair, including bespoke wallpapers and light turquoise fabrics that create both a lighter and superior dining feel.
The new summer menu takes inspiration from the different regions of Italy, serving dishes of fish, meat, and pasta. Highlights include the Arancini Tartufo as an antipasti, Caprese Burrata salad, Linguine All ‘Arragosta, and the extensive selection of steaks. The menu also features a selection of pizzas made inside the wood fired oven imported from Italy from three generation oven makers, the Acunto family, who hand make their ovens from Sorrento stone. The drinks menu has over 50 Italian wines alongside classic Italian cocktails and soft drinks.
Heading up the kitchen team will be Sicilian Head Chef Natale Falcone, who has been with Individual Restaurants for 10 years. Also on the team is Master Baker Davide Argentino, worldwide Master Consultant and 2018 World Champion of Best Pizza Dough at the World Exhibition in Shanghai.
Davide says, ‘We have put a lot of work into our new home on Heddon Street and are incredibly excited to welcome guests back to this prestigious part of London to experience Piccolino’s next level thriving dining destination.’
