In the heart of London’s Mayfair, Sushi Kanesaka at 45 Park Lane have come up with an uber luxe series of dining events. The Sushi Kanesaka Michelin Series: City, Country, Coast promises to be a gastronomic journey, bringing together the artistry of Edomae sushi and the distinct culinary styles of some of the UK’s most revered Michelin-starred chefs.

The City: A Fusion of French and Japanese Elegance
The series kicked off on 5 March, 2025 with a collaboration between Sushi Kanesaka and the illustrious Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester. Chef patron Jean-Philippe Blondet joined forces with the Sushi Kanesaka team to create a menu that harmonised the delicate artistry of Japanese sushi with the refined finesse of French haute cuisine. Signature dishes were enjoyed such as hand-dived scallop with citrus beurre blanc and caviar, and fillet of Wagyu beef with confit leeks and Périgord sauce.

The Countryside: Celebrating British Produce
On 20 May 2025, the series moves to the English countryside with a collaboration featuring Adam Smith of Coworth Park’s Woven by Adam Smith. This event will highlight the seasonality of spring with Cornish seafood, new season asparagus and estate wild garlic, all woven together with Sushi Kanesaka’s signature sushi. The beauty of this collaboration is in storytelling through ingredients, both from the tradition of omakase and the dishes created from the larder found within our shores. This menu will be a celebration of exceptional British produce.

The Coast: A Tribute to the Sea
The final event on 29 July 2025 brings Michelin-starred seafood master Nathan Outlaw to the omakase counter. Outlaw will showcase Cornwall’s bounty from coast to field, focusing on seasonal and sustainable seafood. His deep-rooted connection to the sea will be paired with Sushi Kanesaka’s masterful approach to Edomae sushi. Over the past two decades, Nathan has dedicated his craft to the pursuit of seafood excellence. Every dish reflects the time and place of the ingredients gathered, making this collaboration a natural evolution of that ethos.

An Unparalleled Dining Experience
Opened in 2023, Sushi Kanesaka at 45 Park Lane has quickly established itself as one of London’s most prestigious dining destinations with a team of highly skilled Japanese chefs and hospitality professionals led by restaurant manager Yasushi Nagashima. The intimate 13-seat omakase restaurant, led by acclaimed chef Shinji Kanesaka, won a Michelin star too. The restaurant’s design, featuring traditional Japanese elements and a carefully curated sake collection makes Sushi Kanesaka a centre of sushi excellence.
