Celebrations at The Dorchester

From 2 to 5 June, The Dorchester Rooftop will be dressed to celebrate the Jubilee. With views across Hyde Park, The Dorchester Rooftop is the perfect spot to watch the traditional RAF fly-past on Thursday 2nd June. Live music will be paired with tantalising cocktails by Lucia Montanelli. A highlight from the cocktail menu will be the Purple Reign, inspired by the four countries of the United Kingdom.

A popular tradition at The Dorchester since opening in 1931, a special themed afternoon tea will be presented by executive pastry chef Michael Kwan from 1 to 13 June. The Jubilee Afternoon Tea at The Dorchester will feature a collection of delicate pastries served alongside quintessentially British sandwiches and warm scones with The Dorchester’s jam and clotted cream, including a special Jubilee cake to enjoy at home.

Elsewhere, The Dorchester’s picnic hamper is available to order online and at The Dorchester’s coffee shop Parcafé,that comes with The Dorchester Jubilee Mug. Celebrations at The Dilly

Proudly British independent hotel The Dilly are putting on a feast for the Platinum Jubilee. Executive Chef Stevel Ger has created a handcrafted chocolate-based Jubilee dessert while Bar Manager Marco Matesi was inspired by the Queen’s favourite tipple of gin and dubonnet to create the “Queen’s Favourite” cocktail with Hendrick’s gin mixed with Londinio sweet vermouth infused with fresh red berry, Tio Pepe, and Franklin & Sons Rhubarb Tonic. The Dilly is also offering the ultimate British experience of a bespoke wicker picnic hamper to be enjoyed in one of London’s Royal Parks.

Available until 12 June will be the much anticipated regal Jubilee dessert. You can enjoy this at The Terrace at The Dilly, the hotel’s restaurant which offers guests a botanical oasis under the domed glass roof. The handmade dessert is crafted using chocolate Jivara mousse with a Manjari chocolate cremeux, and a raspberry coulis centre resting on top of a chocolate hazelnut base. The mousse and cremeux is covered in a white chocolate glaze and topped with a handcrafted golden chocolate crown.

Celebrations at Home House

Throughout June, Home House will be celebrating this historic occasion with crown-worthy menus, a Royal Afternoon Tea, sleepovers fit for a Queen and a Platinum Summer Party for Members and guests. Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations will also take place on Enchanted Princess between 2-5 June 2022, the new UK Homeport ship based in Southampton for the summer of 2022. The Ivy Tower Bridge

Located across the river from the Tower of London’s ‘Superbloom’ display in honour of the Platinum Jubilee, The Ivy Tower Bridge has launched a limited edition menu of royal-themed cocktails, a special dessert and an afternoon tea fit for any queen from 2 June. In honour of the United Kingdom’s longest-reigning monarch, the limited-edition cocktail menu is inspired by notable royals, past and present. Lilibet features Tanqueray 10, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, Lemon Juice and Honey Syrup, topped up with The Ivy Champagne for a true royal touch.

In a nod to Queen Elizabeth’s favourite mint chocolate ice cream dessert, you can top off the meal with The Platinum Crown (above), a majestic reimagining of The Ivy’s classic Chocolate Bombe. Featuring mint chocolate ice cream, honeycomb and a delicious hot chocolate sauce and adorned with its very own edible crown. The Jubilee weekend at Aqua Shard, Aqua Kyoto and Aqua Nueva

Look out for a three-course brunch menu with optional wine pairing, available Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June. To mark Her Majesty The Queen’s 70th-year, Starlight Strings will perform their string quartet during brunch on the 2nd and 3rd
June. Alongside live entertainment, a special Jubilee cocktail and dessert will accompany the festivities.

Her Majesty’s Shard will be available on the a la carte dinner menu from 2nd June – 5th June. Made with Passion fruit, raspberry and guava, the dessert is inspired by The Shard’s Jubilee light show which will launch at 9.45pm on 2nd June, as beacons across the country are lit to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee. There is also Aqua Kyoto’s famous free-flow brunch. Four courses of contemporary Japanese cuisine accompanied by a house DJ and live entertainment. Expect Rock shrimp tempura, a choice between Koji chicken and Grilled barley miso salmon and a dessert platter to finish. The Brut version is named for Reveille, inspired by The Last Post; the Champs de Fleurs Rosé is named after the field of poppies that flourished in Western France following the First World War. Lastly, Centurion Blanc de Blanc simply references the 100 years of the Legion’s existence. The label design depicting wild poppies was chosen to ensure Remembrance.
