If you are a lover of Afternoon Tea then head to Taj 51, just a short distance from Buckingham and St James’s palaces, to enjoy an indulgent Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea for two. There are intricate pastries, delicate finger sandwiches and traditional scones, clotted cream and strawberry preserve, all accompanied by a choice of refreshing teas. To add a bit of sparkle to the occasion, there’s also a half a bottle of Bollinger champagne to share.
Alternatively head out of London to Windsor aboard The Royal Windsor Steam Express and go back in time with this heritage railway whilst enjoying a coupe de champagne on arrival and an Eggs Royale brunch, complemented by yet more fine fizz en route.
