This summer, The Ivy Asia has a brand-new Experience Menu available until 2nd September, taking us on a culinary trip throughout Asia through flavour, design, storytelling and atmosphere.
It does not take long once you enter the premises for you to realise that this goes beyond Asian cuisine.
A Culinary Voyage Through Asia
The new Experience Menu is a gourmet trip around Asia while dining.
As a sharing menu, the idea is to give you the opportunity to enjoy different tastes, components and cultures through each dish. Each dish becomes like a passport stamp that takes you on a trip around the continent.
It is not just about having dinner but rather exploring all the richness of the cuisine of Asia.
Where Every Table Is Centre Stage
It all starts well before the first course arrives. The room is very transportive. Ivy Asia has successfully blended luxury with the experience of a multisensory dining experience through the combination of stunning interior decor, theatrical presentations, and an electric atmosphere.
A Celebration of Asian-Inspired Design
Among the many fascinating attributes that The Ivy Asia has, one of the most remarkable is undoubtedly its interior design.
The deep green colour, illuminated trees, art, and lighting combine to form an environment that is both luxurious and welcoming. The interior has taken its inspiration from different Asian elements while keeping its own unique contemporary style.
It is a place that is immersive yet not overcrowded; luxurious but at the same time playful.
Exploring Asia One Plate at a Time
The cuisine tour starts off in Japan with Lobster Crisps garnished with avocado and spiced yuzu sauce, Rainbow Rolls with snow crab and creamy spicy mayonnaise filling, and Yellowtail Nigiri topped with wasabi salsa. These fresh and balanced delicacies are served alongside the Osaka Sour drink, which is a colourful mixture of The Orientalist Whisky, elderflower, and yuzu, and complements the citrus tones of the dishes on the menu.
Next come Thailand and Vietnam with strong and flavourful dishes such as Spicy Salmon Laab, a Thai dish of salmon ceviche with nam jim dressing, coriander, and kaffir lime leaves, as well as a Vietnamese Summer Salad with vermicelli noodles, herbs, chilli peppers, and roasted peanuts. These dishes pair very nicely with the tropical Bangkok Mule and Cà Phê Trứng Martini.
The journey moves on to Indonesia and Malaysia with dishes that will make you feel at home, such as Nasi Goreng with chicken marinated in sweet soy sauce, garlic and chilli, King Prawn Laksa served in coconut soup with noodles, lime, and bean sprouts. Such flavourful dishes are accompanied by the fruity Kuala Sling with The Orientalist Gin, grapefruit, passion fruit, vanilla, and dragonfruit.
Signature upgrades offered will include world-renowned Black Cod Miso and Robatayaki Japanese Wagyu. The Wagyu is very tender and worthy of an upgrade. The journey finishes in the Philippines with Ube Doughnuts & soft-serve, which combine Filipino purple yam, coconut doughnuts, and soft-serve ice cream. The sweet finale may be paired with the tropical Ube Colada.
Available for a limited time until 2 September 2026, the New Experience Menu at Ivy Asia offers a journey through six destinations, each brought to life with thoughtfully crafted food and cocktail pairings.
Cocktails Inspired by Asia’s Most Vibrant Destinations
Working in collaboration with The Orientalist Spirits, every cocktail has been inspired by a new destination within Asia. Just like the menu, the cocktails have taken inspiration from Asian influences with modern mixology skills.
With vibrant citrus-based cocktails taking influence from Osaka to tropical cocktails that evoke the vibrancy of Kuala Lumpur, each cocktail tells its own story. Some amazing cocktails that take influence from the coffee culture of Vietnam give an insight into how unique the cocktail list is, with fruit-flavoured cocktails made from unique ingredients.
Rather than just being there to complement the food, the cocktails become an essential part of the entire experience.
A Destination Experience for the Summer
It is a tribute to the immense diversity of Asian culture in terms of atmosphere, design and unique experiences. Everything has been designed to provide us with an immersive experience.
