For the first time ever, executive chef Elliott Grover at CUT, 45 Park Lane, will be catering for the 2023 Oscars alongside celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck on March 12, 2023.
Bringing a taste of the Oscars to 45 Park Lane, Elliott Grover’s 2023 Oscars menu will be available at BAR 45 until March 31. Known as one of the best steak restaurants in London, CUT’s executive chef Elliott Grover has created the ultimate British menu fit for Hollywood royalty. A-Listers will enjoy a chicken pot pie, fish and chips, and trifle. The Chicken Pot Pie will also be available as a main dish at CUT Restaurant.

The 2023 Oscars menu will be served after the main ceremony at The Governor’s Ball, and he has created a British-inspired menu for the event. Elliott found out that Wolfgang had been catering for the event for the last 30 years, so Elliott suggested doing a British-inspired menu. Wolfgang loved the idea, and the project was born.
There are many logistical things to consider to prepare for the dinner, from crockery to the finest ingredients to cater to 400 people in Los Angeles. Every single dish has a detailed specification, and preparation is key. Elliott said: “People come to CUT to celebrate and to enjoy a delicious, memorable meal. I want to bring CUT’s atmosphere to the Oscars and introduce a quintessential British spin to the night. I am honoured to be cooking alongside Wolfgang Puck, a true culinary inspiration when it comes to the Oscars and who himself has been spearheading the event for nearly 30 years.”

The Golden Nights cocktail – Available at BAR 45, this gorgeous cocktail is made with organic Cachaça, lime, homemade lemon oil and topped with Veuve Clicquot champagne—an elegant cocktail with a citrus tone.
Fish & Chips Cones – A British classic with the crispest whitest fish and proper fries. A small bite of beautiful crispy fried haddock, triple cooked beef dripping chip, with a sharp tartare sauce, and wedge of lemon and wooden chip fork! All served in a sustainable bamboo cone.
The Famous Chicken Pot Pie – This is a classic of Wolfgang Puck, finished with black truffles. It is an amazing dish with golden crispy puff pastry soufflés on top. When you cut it open it gives the most amazing luxurious aroma!
Sherry Trifle – Individual pots filled with layers of fruit jelly, custard, and cream topped with a maraschino cherry.
