At the heart of luxury and lavishness, the Dorchester Collection’s iconic properties across the globe are gearing up for a season of change and innovation. As the Dorchester Collection marks another year of excellence, here’s what you can expect for the group as it remains a beacon for sophistication and timeless allure.

The Dorchester, London
The Dorchester’s rooms and suites renovations will continue into 2024, with full completion set for early 2025.
This year and for the first time, The Dorchester hosted a special festive charity concert with esteemed composer, pianist, and producer Chloe Flower on Wednesday, 22 November. The concert launched the ‘Gift of Giving’ initiatives at the hotel, with ticket sale proceeds donated to charity partner, Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. To complement the concert, the hotel encouraged guests of the festive Afternoon Tea to donate a new toy that will be delivered to Noah’s Ark just before Christmas.

45 Park Lane, London
45 Park Lane recently unveiled Sushi Kanesaka. Showcasing an intimate, immersive, and contemporary omakase experience, the four-seat and nine-seat counter experience each comes with its own sushi Shokuin. In keeping with tradition, the restaurant is hosted by an Okami, Nanami-san, who ensures the guest experience is unparalleled – a role at the very heart of Japanese hospitality.
In March 2024, executive chef Elliott Grover will once again collaborate with Wolfgang Puck to create four signature British dishes that will be served at the Oscar’s annual Governors Ball. This culinary partnership marks Wolfgang Puck’s 30th anniversary cooking at the star-studded event. 45 Park Lane will showcase Elliott’s Oscars menu in London, exclusively from 23 January until 1 April 2024, at BAR 45, alongside a specially crafted cocktail to celebrate the occasion.

Coworth Park, Ascot
Coworth Park, as well as The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane, have welcomed renowned organic skincare brand Ishga at their respective spas. Ishga’s treatments harness the power of Scotland’s pure seaweed, with a philosophy of merging the healing properties of natural seaweed with modern skincare techniques.
Coworth Park is celebrating the winter season with dining events, games, and festivities crafted for the whole family. Guests can indulge in festive menus in The Barn and at Woven by Adam Smith. The not-to-miss après-ski experience will welcome guests in The Barn, featuring mulled wine or hot chocolate along with enchanting holiday decor. For those looking for an exclusive experience, guests can book the North Lodge or the Dower House, the hotel’s two standalone private signature suites.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris
Hôtel Plaza Athénée recently debuted its highly anticipated transformation of its Dior Spa. The Spa not only features exclusive treatments and rituals designed for the hotel, but a new Dior Light Suite offering high-tech light therapy – the first for a Parisian Palace spa.
The hotel has just launched a book in partnership with Assouline – the first hotel in the brand’s destination series. Imagined and developed closely with chef Jean Imbert, this unique book celebrates the beauty and modernity of the 21st-century French “Palace”.
Coming this winter season, the hotel will bring to life a winter chalet located in the heart of La Coeur Jardin. Le Chalet du Plaza Athénée transports guests to snowy Alpine slopes with a menu curated by executive chef Jean Imbert. The courtyard also transforms into an ice-skating rink where hotel guests can enjoy private skating with a professional instructor.

Le Meurice, Paris
Le Meurice unveiled 39 new rooms and suites under the supervision of French designers Charles Jouffre, Margaux Lally and Luc Berger.
World-renowned pastry chef Cédric Grolet and deputy pastry chef François Deshayes have created an impressive line-up of heart-warming treats to round out 2023. The highly anticipated Yuletide Log and the Galette des Rois (or Twelfth-night cake) are the stars of the hotel’s festive delicacies.

Hotel Eden, Rome
Hotel Eden will be launching a partnership with ‘Roma Arte in Nuvola’ – the major Roman Fair of modern and contemporary art. La Libreria will host the exhibition ‘Mirrorland’ by Mattia Sugamiele until 26 November, along with an intimate speaker event on 24 November.
During the winter, The Mount Terminillo Driving Experience, in collaboration with The Drivers Club, will continue – providing guests with an exclusive self-drive journey in an Italian Ferrari F8 Tributo Spider up to Lazio’s highest peak. The excursion includes high-altitude exploration by foot with an expert local guide to discover the beauty of the Lazio region and its peaks and valleys.

Hotel Principe Di Savoia, Milan
Hotel Principe di Savoia unveiled the next experience in Dorchester Collection’s series of bespoke, private walking “art trails”. Guests can discover the story of Lucio Fontana’s ground-breaking art through the “Fontana – Slashing Space” trail – taking guests on a journey that explores Fontana’s rejection of the status quo, how his boundless imagination created art for the modern age, blending painting, sculpture, and architecture, transcending tradition, and embracing technology to ultimately revolutionise the history of art with his ground-breaking Spatialist Movement.
Principe Bar is entering into a new era with the recent appointments of beverage consultant Marco Russo and head barman Daniele Celli, renowned mixologists of the iconic Milanese speakeasy 1930. Russo and Celli are reimagining the concept of Principe Bar as more of a live entertainment lounge, complete with updated music, themed events, collaborations with DJs and a grand piano that sits in the middle of the bar.

Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles
Hotel Bel Air’s newest exhibition by Chris Wolston is inspired by Wolston’s home in Colombia where he celebrates Colombia’s status as the floral capital of the Americas. The exhibition, which will be open to guests until 15 February 2024, continues Wolston’s exploration of craft, traditions, materiality, and symbolism.
From 11 – 15 December, the hotel will invite guests to the beautifully decorated Front Lawn for a festive movie series of beloved classics presented on an outdoor screen.

The Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles
The Beverly Hills Hotel has just unveiled its second capsule collection with The Sil, an e-commerce site for independent fashion designers. This collection of female-owned brands is inspired by the hotel’s founder, Margaret Jane Anderson, who shaped the legacy of The Beverly Hills Hotel. The pieces are available for purchase on thesilshop.com.
The hotel recently launched a new art exhibition, Reflections, which features large-scale photography by Jin-Woo Prensena. The exhibition is comprised of 24 natural landscape and aerial photographs, captured from across the globe. Prensena’s dedicated approach to photography often means going to extraordinary lengths, whether dangling from a helicopter 7,500 feet above Downtown Los Angeles or open-air flying over the volcanic riverbeds of the Highlands of Iceland. The exhibition will be on view through to 15 February 2024.
